Really disappointed in the new ownership. This used to be a great place for lunch and snacks and now it never has anything. Used to have one of the best chicken salad sandwiches in the area. Miss the old owners.

Best bakery in the area. Love their scones and Dakota bread loaf.

Great lunch today! I tried the chicken salad sandwich and am thrilled to finally find "my" kind of chicken salad--NO onions and only chicken breast (white meat). Had it on wheat & it was very tasty. My husband tried the Rachel sandwich (turkey version of Reuben) and he loved it. The staff was great, very attentive, and the sandwiches were large. Anxious to return.

The current owners are a great disappointment. The recipe for the wheat bread has been changed, and not for the better. I've been eating this bread for years and when I spoke to the new owners about the change, they actually told me I was wrong! Additionally, they would not honor the bread card from the previous owners. Those cards have been used for many, many years. If they don't wish to continue with this, fine; but they should have accepted the card when completed and not issued a new one. I do not appreciate how I have been treated; everyone has been rude to me -- as I say a great disappointment.

I have been buying bread here for years but not any more. The new owners have changed the recipes, and when I spoke to them about the poor taste, they disagreed with me and treated me rudely. I certainly will not pay to be treated this way.

While I came for the bread (yummy Dakota with sunflower seeds), I succumbed to temptation and purchased a "Louisville Chicken Salad" sandwich. I loved it! Fresh and flavorful. Raw onions are put on top (optional obviously) which is greatly appreciated. So many chicken salads these days are loaded with raw onions. Great if you like that--but I prefer a light hand. Also LOVE the brownies--they are ultra dense--like plutonium (ha-ha), well actually like the density of fudge. Not your ordinary brownie, for sure!

Yo! The breakfast sandwich goes DUMB HARD! The biscuit was as soft as a mother's embrace and was delightfully not dry. The two young employees with whom I interacted were pleasantly precocious and eagerly engaging. Over all a positive experience that was greatly appreciated.

Great customer service and the bread is well worth traveling for.

What did you do to the raspberry scones? I loved the scones from the previous owners but they have been changed to a blob of dough. Will not be buying anymore until you go back to the original recipe. Very sad!
