I love Rougarou! All the food is delicious—I especially love the gumbo. Great ambiance and friendly bar service. Definitely underrated but a treasure in downtown Chapel Hill. They also have an awesome lunch special!

Parking: The Wallace Deck is right across the street and always has spots available.

We wanted to try Imbibe and sample some Cajun food. I ordered a half Mufeletta and my partner in crime, an oyster Po Boy. And since I hadn't had a cheese curd in 20 years, I had to order them as well.

Probably no surprise, it was a lot of food. The "half" Mufeletta was huge! I ended up only eating half of the half. It was quite good, certainly something different for me. My wife thought her Po Boy was fantastic. I had a bite and it was super...
