The beef bulgogi was stupendous. My wife's won ton dish was perfect and the toppings were served on the side as requested. And so reasonably priced.
Jujube is one of the truly great restaurants in the Triangle. I'm partial to the CH locations. I've been coming here for many years now. The food and service has gotten even better and it was great years ago. Recently I took a friend there for her birthday. The young server was friendly, kind and attentive in just the right amount. Best server I've had in a long time. We had roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower as well as the chicken & shitake dumplings. Outstanding! The atmosphere there is perfect with lovely decor, white table cloths, fascinating B&W photos on the walls and you can carry on a conversation.
The food was very good, although we did not try our favorite calamari appetizer, which was pretty bad last time we were at Jujube. There was a confusion about wine lists. It turned out that the wine list on our table was outdated. We ordered a bottle of Albarino, and it took a while for the waiter to realize that the wine lists were messed up and no Albarino is available. The new wine list needs some reasonably priced (say less than $70) California Chardonnays and it would be nice to have Albarino and Viognier back. Servers could be a bit better trained.
Always a great dining experience. Best bar and bartenders. Great food - I don't know how it keeps getting better. Whether it's a quick drink and app or a major group celebration - this is always a wonderful celebration space and place. Feels like coming home.
The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and it was stunning! Our service was phenomenal. The dumplings were great but the sleeper were the green beans side! Amazing!!!
A terrible experience. The room was extremely cold, which made for a few uncomfortable hours. The wine and appetizer were really good BUT: the string beans that accompanied my pork dish had cilantro on it. (This was not indicated on the menu and I cannot eat cilantro because it tastes to me like soap.) I asked for string beans without cilantro. The server took away my plate and A HALF HOUR later, after my friends had finished their dinner, a new plate was given to me. The pork was fatty and there were traces of cilantro in the beans. When I complained, my server said “okay.” It wasn't okay; it was unacceptable. What kind of response is “okay”? My dinner was comped, as it should have been, but I will never go to Jujube again.
My (very new) fiancee and I went to Jujube to celebrate getting engaged earlier that day and the staff was WONDERFUL! We have a thing for Polaroids and asked if they could take a photo of us with it, which they did. On top of that, they sat us at a table next to each other instead of across, and wrote us a card congratulating us on the engagement. It was an amazing way to celebrate our love and we really couldn't be more pleased with the experience.
All the food was amazing. We loved all the appetizer's and main our main course was SO good. WOW, I can't wait to go back with my friends and family! Loved the holiday decorations too!
One of the best restaurants in the triangle! Jujube is incredibly special. Every dish is unique and flavorful.
We have eaten at this lovely, quiet locale several times. All is as it should be at a fine dining estalishment: warm welcome; gracious service; great food and beverages. You are on our FAV list. Nearby parking is also an asset.

Great food choices prepared well with just enough kick and spice. Recommend the crab/shrimp cakes, BBQ pork, short rib wonton and dumplings along with kimchi rice
Excellent all around! Fantastic service and excellent food! They were very accommodating to our reservation time change which was so appreciated. The salad was one of the best I've ever had! Same with the calamari. Wonderful time- we will be back!
We always love Jujubee! Our meal was terrific and the Halloween decorations were fantastic. Thank you, Jujubee!
We had a wonderful dinner. Food was excellent and the service equally good. They were also so thoughtful to give us a handwritten anniversary card.
Tonight's meal fell short of our previous experiences. It started with a very slim "specials" menu, which was lacking and disappointing since the menu itself wasn't as creative as in the past. The dumplings were delicious as usual, and the crab/shrimp cakes were very tasty - just the right amount of spice. The kimchi fried rice though was bland and unimpressive. Everything came out really hot and the service and ambience were great. Overall though, the price ($160 for 3 people) seemed high for the meal consumed. It wasn't as special as in the past and I couldn't help but think I should have made a different choice for the money.
