Jujube is one of the truly great restaurants in the Triangle. I'm partial to the CH locations. I've been coming here for many years now. The food and service has gotten even better and it was great years ago. Recently I took a friend there for her birthday. The young server was friendly, kind and attentive in just the right amount. Best server I've had in a long time. We had roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower as well as the chicken & shitake dumplings....
The food was very good, although we did not try our favorite calamari appetizer, which was pretty bad last time we were at Jujube. There was a confusion about wine lists. It turned out that the wine list on our table was outdated. We ordered a bottle of Albarino, and it took a while for the waiter to realize that the wine lists were messed up and no Albarino is available. The new wine list needs some reasonably priced (say less than $70) California Chardonnays and it would be...
Always a great dining experience. Best bar and bartenders. Great food - I don't know how it keeps getting better. Whether it's a quick drink and app or a major group celebration - this is always a wonderful celebration space and place. Feels like coming home.
