Tonight's meal fell short of our previous experiences. It started with a very slim "specials" menu, which was lacking and disappointing since the menu itself wasn't as creative as in the past. The dumplings were delicious as usual, and the crab/shrimp cakes were very tasty - just the right amount of spice. The kimchi fried rice though was bland and unimpressive. Everything came out really hot and the service and ambience were great. Overall though, the price...
First time back there in over 7 years and we loved it. Sat on the ‘patio' area and it was perfect for the temperature. Cocktails were really unique and good. Brussels, wontons and dumplings were fantastic start, then had the bulgogi and the chicken and raved about the bulgogi.
This was our first time eating at Jujube, and we will definitely be back! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the gluten-free options were safe for me to eat having Celiac Disease. A big treat for me was being able to have calamari for the first time after being diagnosed, and it does not disappoint! Exceptional service, very tasty, quality, food, and really cute on the inside of the restaurant and the patio!
