Mr Tokyo Japanese Restaurant

My family's visit to this restaurant was fantastic. It is all you can eat, and also excellent quality. We four chose the unlimited option and worried some about ordering too much, but did not go over the line and could comfortably finish everything. We mostly had sushi and rolls.

I order DoorDash from here a lot, it’s always quick and the staff is nice. It’s a little overpriced but that’s the norm here, food is good.

My friend and I visit here often and love it! Miso soup is my favorite to start with, next time I am going to try the house salad though, my friend always starts with that and loves it! Lots of choices, probably a bit too since can try them all. Chicken teriyaki with yum yum sauce is great! Snowhite sushi is my favorite! We also met a popular nc pro sport team owner! Will go again!

Food tastes good but check your take out order before you leave. Ordered a dish, got a completely different one that I couldn’t eat due to dietary restrictions. Called them and they didn’t seem to really care.

As a fellow Asian person, I can say that the food SLAPPED period. Me, my friend, and our big selves are satisfied. Everything gets an Asian stamp of approval, and it was well worth the $16 lunch special. Period.

oh my gosh. what a steal. i've been here around a dozen times and am getting close to perfecting the order 👌. from the frozen cheese sticks to the tuna nigiri, there is not a single low point in the menu. safe to say i will be back (more than once). even if you think you're full, you can't go wrong with the miso soup. if you order less than 3 salmon nigiri in the first order, i'm questioning your sushi taste. pictured below is salmon + tuna nigiri, rainbow roll, and alaska roll. also would highly recommend the phoenix maki roll (it's a little spicy though). i will say the wait times can get tough if you don't come 10-15 mins before open.

Better-than-average sushi/hibachi restaurant. I recommend their hibachi beef and shrimp without the rice. The wait can be long.

We get vegan sushi weekly here! The sweet potato roll is 10/10.

Someone posted Mr Tokyo on the ticky tok so we headed to it.. freshest sushi 🍣 😋 😍 rice n shrimp habachi is my fav veggies so fresh

Sushi is always really good and there is plenty of it. We have been a couple times and have always had a good experience. Anytime we are starving and want to fill up on sushi this is the place.
