Absolutely amazing arepas. I had the trimagnetico and it was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned and the maize dough tasted homemade. I have never had South American versions of things but that was amazing

I can’t get over how much I love this place. Their vegan patacon w. cheese is insanely good and so are their tequenos. Amazing service, super kind people who work there, amazing value for money. Like 5 of the pounds I’ve gained during the pandemic are from the arepa truck

Whenever I want some Venezuelan Arepas I head to this place. They charge $10-$12 dollars for two packed Arepas. Each Arepa has its on style and all of them have been good. My favorite is the Arepa Pabellón which has plátano, beans, and some type of pulled pork. The explosiva is also really good with cheese, a pork chop, and beans. Overall this place is worth going to and the family who runs this place is super friendly.

Great food! I’m gluten free and was able to eat the arepas with no problems. My husband who is a picky eater loved their food as well!

When you write a review on Yelp and hover over the stars from one to five, one star equates to "Not good." That was my experience with Na'Wara de Arepa. I hate to do it, but I can only give this food truck one star. Both the food and service simply were not good. This is an arepa / Venezuelan food truck. The food truck was scheduled to visit our apartment complex one day last week from 5 to 7pm. However, the truck showed up late. I saw them roll in at about 5:15/5:20 or so. Not a big deal. However, I don't know how much time it takes for them to set up and prep. As far as sticking to the schedule, food trucks cancel all the time so I'm used to that. I placed my order at 5:44pm and it wasn't fully completed until 6:16pm. 32 minutes for four items. Yikes. There was only one customer ahead of me and I could tell she was getting impatient from her body language and how she looked at her watch. Several customers showed up behind us and I felt sorry for them because they had to wait just as long, if not, longer. I know this because after my wife and I were done with our meal at home, I went back outside to take out the trash and recycling and some of the same people who were waiting with us were still waiting (!). Back to my order... While waiting, I checked the receipt I had received via email (Square) on my phone. One of the items was wrong. I had ordered a Reina Pepiada, but the receipt showed Sifrina instead. As soon as I noticed this error, I went back to the window and had it corrected. After waiting several minutes, I was called back to the window to pick up part of my order. I was told it would be another five minutes for the Bomba Burger (one of the four items I ordered). The next wait turned out to be well over five minutes. While waiting (again), I checked the contents of the partial order that had been given to me. There were only two items and I had ordered four. Again, I returned to the window to clarify that I had received only two items and was waiting on not one, but two more: the Bomba Burger (that the staff had just told me about) *and* the Reina Pepiada. At no point was I told there would be a delay nor was there an apology for the extended wait. Communicating delays to customers and simple, polite apologies for long wait times are standard and common courtesy in the food service industry. There was none of that professionalism here. This appears to be a small, family-run operation, which makes it hard for me to write this. Hopefully, this review can help serve as some constructive feedback. There were two menus, both propped up against the truck. The menus had pictures which were helpful. However, the upper menu didn't have prices on it. They should put prices on it. Here's what I ordered for my wife and me: * Bomba Burger ($9.00) - five-inch bun, beef patty, chicken, pork chop, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, and sauces * Reina Pepiada ($6.50) - Chicken with mayonnaise and avocado * Arepa Cabimera ($7.00) - fried arepa, shredded beef and chicken, avocado, egg, Parmesan cheese * Patacon ($9.00) - fried green plantains, cheese, chicken, beef, lettuce, tomato, sauces Long story short, the food just wasn't very good. It looked better than it tasted. My wife and I were looking forward to trying the food based on Na'Wara de Arepa's stellar Yelp rating and pictures we'd seen on Yelp and Instagram. However, we were disappointed. The Reina Pepiada came with little avocado, only a couple bites. The avocado was one of the main draws for us in this arepa as well as the Arepa Cabimera. On the menu, avocado was listed as an ingredient for the Arepa Cabimera, but there was no avocado in the Arepa Cabimera that we received. Did they happen to have an avocado shortage or something? If so, then they should have told us instead of serving us an item without one of its menu-listed ingredients. The Reina Pepiada we received didn't look like the ones we had seen online such as these, or this one: Sadly, our version had much less avocado. Als

Great food, great people. Call ahead or check Facebook to verify location before heading out.

The only bad thing is that they opened just as my time in Chapel Hill was up! These people are the real deal, and you won’t find a more authentic arepa anywhere in the Triangle. Beyond that, they are super friendly and super accommodating, with great prices for their food and even better ones for their catering! Wishing them all the best ??❤️

Lo más importante para nosotros los venezolanos es la atención y ellos brindan una atención personalizada atendido por sus propios dueños todo excelente

Decadent, tasteful, and wonderfully made. I cannot count the number of times I’ve ordered from here. I almost always get the Venezuelan cheese sticks, chicken avocado salad arepas, or ground beef empanadas, though everything on the menu is sure to leave you happy and satisfied. All in all, this is a great spot if you’re ever craving some Venezuelan comfort food.

Excellent. Legit Venezuelan food, just like home. Friendly service. Can't wait to go back.

Great food in a little place that is hidden away IMHO. Glad to see the staff are wearing masks.
