We’ve been here two days in a row and love it! The food is super tasty and fresh — we tried the taquitos, yuca bites, mole enchiladas, and sopes, and everything was great. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the staff is really friendly. The outdoor patio is perfect for hanging out with family. Love the Mexican-Peruvian fusion, definitely coming back!

The birria tacos are delicious, I’ve gone back for them 2x! So yummy. The chicken taco is not so great. Steak is good. Empanadas are yummy. Birria taco slaps though!

we ordered the ropa vieja tonight and it was so so bad. There was little to no meat and the majority (75%) of it was silverskin/connective tissue which was incredibly gross. We called to tell them and they didn’t care. Didn’t offer to make us another or refund us the money. you are supposed to remove ALL of the silverskin. NOBODY EATS THAT. This is the last time I spend my money there.

Portions are constantly inconsistent with take out orders. There hasn’t been a time when an item wasn’t missing. Sometimes it’s glaring like completely missing the chicken with nachos that I catch before leaving…sometimes it’s small like guac or salsa. But for the price…just get it right.

Update: After coming less and less, I will no longer be coming here. After a few months, the same issues arise. Left with my nacho order today. Salsa was missing and there may have been all but a handful of chips in the box…and half were smashed. It’s the cheapest part…yet they skimp. I try to order on industry “slow” nights, but they can stay slow.

We enjoyed the tacos, but the staff leaves something to be desired. They’re not necessarily rude, but I would call them indifferent and perhaps unfriendly. We walked out of the restaurant the first time because it was about 40 min from closing and it seemed like they didn’t want us there. The second time we went in the middle of their normal hours and still got a weird vibe from the staff like they were annoyed we were dining in. It was kind of uncomfortable but we did enjoy our meal. I agree with some other reviews, it seems like they are mainly a takeout business and they come off weirdly when people do dine in. If you are dining in, I’d recommend going to townhall burger next door instead, much better staff and they serve O’ya’s tacos too.

Indifferent counter service take on some of the same dishes you can get elsewhere. Prices are pretty high for what you get, considering no chips and salsa included, and the counter only order service. The decor is decent but the chairs are not comfortable. The chicken bowl included what was described as rotisserie, and yet it was hard as a rock and simply not edible. It was way past the point of caramelized. It was dehydrated and so hard we thought it was bones. The bowl was served with lime cilantro green rice, which was actually the best thing on the bowl. You have a choice of beans, either pinto or black. We tried both of the beans, and the pinto had no flavor at all. It seemed like it was simply heated right from the can. The food was served in a big plastic bowl with mostly romaine lettuce, which simply, in our opinion, just didn't work. Hot tasteless pinto beans served over lettuce results in wilted lettuce. Plus, the entire bowl, even with the pineapple Pico, was simply very bland and one note. There wasn't enough of the Pico, and what was included consisted of chopped tomato tops with little bits of pineapple. It's unfortunate because it could have been good based on the description, but the execution simply was lacking. Update tried this place again, and it's gotten worse. They mostly cater to take out and as a result in store eating is clearly low priority.

I order from here at least once per week and I normally tipped them a generous amount but after today I will no longer be coming here. I spent $50 today on two bowls and when I looked at my bag, I only received one bag of chips and the sides for only one bowl when asked for the other sides and everything else that comes with the other bowl, I was told I have to pay extra. But if I would’ve placed two separate orders for my two bowls I would’ve gotten two bags of chips so that makes no sense. For the amount of times I’ve came in order food for me and my coworkers I always receive the right amount of food inside for each bowl instead of giving me one serving size of sides for one bowl that is crazy and because of the amount of money I spend here I will not be coming here again terrible service .

We moved into town a little while ago and have enjoyed O-Ya a few times before. Unfortunately, this past Saturday will be our last time ordering here. I arrived 15 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready and it still was not ready. I completely understand that happens, but my interactions with the staff at the cashier made me never want to come back here again. After waiting an additional 5 minutes on one last item (now making our food 20 minutes late), I heard another staff member keep asking the cooks to make the last plate we were waiting for, all the while our other food was sitting out on the counter getting cold. After a few more minutes I asked the person at the front desk if he wouldn't mind remaking one of the orders because it's for my pregnant wife and she isn't supposed to eat food that's been sitting out for a while (no less for over 20 minutes, plus we still had a 15 minute drive home). After I explained this he didn't say sorry or even address what I said, he simply laughed at me, shook his head and told the cooks to remake the order. Then to make matters worse, again without responding to anything I had just asked, he takes our bag off the counter, and proceeds to bring it into the back, while nonchalantly kicking the bag. I assume this was some sort of tantrum response to my request. He ended up placing the bag in a temperature controlled container, which I appreciated, but not responding to me and kicking my food bag repeatedly, even if it was nonchalantly is beyond rude. Finally, we are given our food at a total of 25 minutes late. When the food was handed off, there is not a murmur of an apology nor even eye contact. Additionally, when we got home two of the plates were incorrect: either missing items or were made incorrectly. It's rare that I will write a review on poor staff or customer service, but frankly this ruined our night. We won't be ordering from here anymore.

Super cute restaurant with flavorful food all for a good price. Don’t skip the Yucca Cheese Balls, they’re delicious!

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps into the restaurant, and the tables do seem to have space for a wheelchair to replace the chairs. There are ramps from the parking lot onto the sidewalk, and there is also outdoor seating.

O’ya is my new favorite, each meal is better than the next! Piña loca, veggie tostadas, yucca cheeseballs, pupusas with curtido and a generous amount of salsa <3
