I felt sorry for the poor waitress its not her fault. Why have a menu when you're just going to serve cold, unseasoned, dry food that isn't at all what you ordered. This was their "margarita" pizza....you can't even spring for powdered seasoning? Cold with tomato sauce poured from the can and warmed thru with greesy cheese on top. I'd have better luck with a gas station hot dog. I gave it two tries to make sure. "Bistro burger" was a frozen patty with zero seasoning luke warm with no condiments on it.

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend and had trouble with the door locks. Under a set of conditions the deadbolt would pop out and inadvertently prevent the door from closing. I notified the front desk and ask for a manager to call me so I could show them the issue and never got a call. I insisted the manager call me. The next day when my son returned to the room after it was cleaned, sure enough the door was held open by the deadbolt. My room was not the only one like this.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt comfortable and welcomed. After a 7 hour drive from PA, check in was friendly and efficient. Alonzo, the manager, was extremely kind and friendly and went above and beyond to get us checked in comfortably and quickly. The hotel was clean, the fitness room was fabulous, the pool was fun and the two gentlemen working at the Bistro were fabulous. We requested a box of tissues and they came to the room within minutes. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to any travelers going to the Chapel Hill area.

We stay at Courtyard in Chapel Hill on June 6 and 7 this was a medical stay._Upon check out I notice an extra 112.37 dollar charge. I questioned this charge at check out and was told it was a hold and would be released upon check out. Here it is twelve days later and stay being held. Call the hotel was told they have no record of transaction so nothing they can do. Have contacted bank and filed disputed charge claim. Again twelve days later and still holding OUR money. Do not use this hotel.

I’m from Mooresville NC, outside of Charlotte. My son is in the hospital here at UNC and I’ve had to extend my stay several time due to unforeseen circumstances. Aaleeyah has been super helpful in helping me extend and keep my room, in spite of several weekends being fully booked! I’m so appreciative of this at this time when I didn’t need to switch rooms or hotels!! She’s exceptional and made sure she took great care of me under stressful circumstances!!! Thank you Aaleeyah!!! Great stay and fresh and clean!!

First time I have been disappointed in a Marriott. Breakfast is not included. There is not a shuttle, even though it is advertised. We had to ask 3 days in a row to have housekeeping tend to our room. Unacceptable!! The people who work there were lovely. Very poor lighting in our room. Shame on Marriott.

needed to be at the Friday Center at UNC and this hotel was the closest. Very good choice and good options for am, but if you want a sit down meal its not available here but options are nearby for that

I had a great stay at the Courtyard. We arrived early in the morning on a red eye flight. from California. Robert, the front desk manager, warmly greeted us and quickly got us to our room. Yani helped us with space to prepare for an event. The hotel was conveniently located for restaurants, shops, etc. We would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed here overnight for business. The room was clean and service was great. My room was located on the first floor (by request). There was some traffic noise throughout the night and I could hear the moaning and grunting of people lifting weights in the nearby fitness room beginning at 4:30 am. So, if you want a first floor room, definitely ask if it is near the gym. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would stay here again.

My husband and I reserved a four night stay at this property. The roon was a good size and nicely decorated with a good sized television and darkening shades under the curtains. There was a refrigerator but no microwave and the cheapest little coffee maker available. Important to me was the quality of the kleenex and the toilet paper which was very cheap; I purchased my own kleenex after the first day. There was no fan in the bathroom and as a result no air when the door was shut. But the most important piece of information to know, and I have seen this mentioned in other reviews, the beds are so hard that I would wake up with numb legs from sleeping on my back. Did not get a good night's sleep during our stay. Would not recommend this property for that reason.

So i find I go to view reviews a lot when taking hotels into consideration so i wanted to write one to help out anyone who may be like me. I found that hotel to be a decent hotel. Below are my thoughts on my recent week long stay. The carpets in the halls are worn but not gross. The room itself was very nice. It had a refrigerator and microwave both of which came in very handy. The water pressure was wonderful in the sinks and shower and the water heated up immediately. My only true complaint (and it was a huge problem for me) is the bed was the hardest thing I think I have ever slept on. I spent 5 nights here and toward the end of the week, I would feel as if my thighs were bruised when I woke up in the mornings as I tend to sleep on my sides. Its unfortunate because the location could not have been better. I do have to say however this will keep me from going back. I could not do that for another week. I do wish they had a free breakfast or even coffee in the lobby but unfortunately, you have to pay for it as they operate as a Starbucks. I hope this was helpful.

I am not big on expensive meals but I do love good meals! I have to say I was very hesitant on spending this amount on a meal, just one meal but my husband wanted to go!!! Let me say, this $56 ribeye was amazing and very much worth the money!! No regrets! I did squash and potatoes as the side! The squash was fine, potatoes were great!! Can't wait until our next visit next year!!! This is a restaurant and meal I will revisit year after year!!! I tried to upload photos but it says they are too big!!! Will try later!

The man at the desk was seldom around. He was in the back room playing on his phone Room wasn’t super clean I had coffee in the room and the coffee pods were not replaced for the next day. Pot wasn’t clean The heat in room would not regulate. It was so hot in room. Had to turn on AC and then we froze

Try another hotel in the area if you can. Nothing near this place and bartender/ staff are nothing to write home about. Rooms were clean, but nothing beyond that. Marriott should be ashamed at this staff.
