From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt comfortable and welcomed. After a 7 hour drive from PA, check in was friendly and efficient. Alonzo, the manager, was extremely kind and friendly and went above and beyond to get us checked in comfortably and quickly. I’m from Mooresville NC, outside of Charlotte. My son is in the hospital here at UNC and I’ve had to extend my stay several time due to unforeseen circumstances. Aaleeyah has been super helpful in helping me extend and keep my room, in spite of several weekends being fully booked! First time I have been disappointed in a Marriott. Breakfast is not included. There is not a shuttle, even though it is advertised. We had to ask 3 days in a row to have housekeeping tend to our room. Unacceptable!! The people who work there were lovely. Very poor lighting in our room. Shame on Marriott.
