Nice old gritty yogurt shop, a Chapel Hill staple. Yogurt/cones are great. The sloping, hand rail-less, sharp-edged brick steps are a death trap, no idea how this passes any city standards. But the yogurt is good and you get to watch people trip on the steps as they try to get in and out.

Awesome yogurt shop with fresh and amazing toppings. The two guys working tonight were an awesome representation of the shop. So kind and went above and beyond. So impressed. One of the top yogurt spots in the country!

A few weeks ago, I was having a terrible day. I mean a truly awful day. All I wanted was a little pick me up, and I am so happy that I chose to look for one at the Yogurt Pump. More than their wide variety of flavors and toppings and reasonable prices, I found solace from one worker, James, who was a bright spot on my rainy day. He gave me a froyo cup with a perfect swirl, guidance on what toppings would go best in my cup, and some advice that would rival a very pricy therapist's. I left YoPo with a clarity of mind that I haven't felt since adolescence. James is not just the yogurt man, he is a miracle worker. Oh and he rescued my cat from a burning building.

I prefer frozen yogurt over ice cream. This place has a wide selection of flavors & toppings. It's a bit pricey for the portion size, but a treat now & then is worth it.

I was in town for a work trip & craving frozen yogurt. This place hit the spot. I ordered classic tart with 3 toppings.

The inside of the little shop was super cute. The decor on the wall is 1982-themed, which the staff person told me is when the shop opened.

It's close to UNC campus.

Sadly this place used to have the best frozen yogurt around. However, they have changed their recipe. On a recent visit the quality of the froyo had clearly gone down. What was once a delightful creamy treat is now on par with the icy mess you can get from other places like the fuzzy peach or frozy. Sad since this place used to be an establishment in chapel hill, not worth returning.

Favorite frozen yogurt place in the triangle. Yogurt is smooth and not icey. Lots of topping choices.

I didn't like the homeless lady coming into the shop bothering me & harassing me for money while I was eating my dessert treat for the night. Furthermore, it was unacceptable to the business as well which hurt my atmosphere & the business's atmosphere too. That was EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE & UNSAFE for me for certain! ☹️

So good! They're one of a kind, right in downtown Chapel Hill. It cost the same amount for one to three toppings, and they usually have eight different frozen yogurt flavors available at any given time. Also, you can get on their text list and get coupons sent to you, like buy one get one free or a dollar off any size.

Nice, tangy, soft yogurt in a lively atmosphere.
