Every item was flavorful and satisfying, and the injera was so good I could eat it every day. The staff was friendly and welcoming, even for a quick carry-out order. I left happy, full, and already wanting to come back. Highly recommend!“

“Long but necessary! I first want to start by saying had I trusted the previous reviews I would have truly missed out on the most authentic African food Charlotte has to offer. I had my very first taste of Egusi and fufu here with the Jollaf rice and I can truthfully say in my experience there is NOT another African restaurant that compares. My food is always fresh and hot. I have enough to get full and still take home leftovers. I am truly hooked on this place. On days the cooking pot was closed I tried other African restaurants and never received the same quality of food, service or consideration. I now wait until they are open, no exceptions. People go where they feel welcomed but stay where they feel valued and let me tell you, I have received nothing but great service every visit. She even remembers my order and that I do not like meat. She challenges me to try other dishes and have really opened my palates, and as a pickey eater. That’s talent!! You can literally taste the love in every dish and that’s what makes this place so special. I do not leave reviews often but there is a disservice being done here as I read through some of the reviews. I absolutely love everything about this place and if your looking to try good African food, consider forming your own opinion from your own experience.“
