delicious food and friendly staff! The Wayke had so much flavor and spice , and the portion was so generous. Also I accidentally left without getting my receipt, and when I called Mama Gee’s the next day, they went out of their way to find it, reprint it, and text it to me. I really appreciated the effort and kindness. The food was so good! Definitely recommend Mama Gee’s if you’re in Charlotte. I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area!
Best Ghanaian food I’ve tried so far. The jollof was very flavorful. My girlfriend loved the waakye. It’s takeout only so you gotta eat in the car but it’s worth it.
Absolutely loved the egusi from Mama Gee! I’ve tried it elsewhere before and found it lacking in flavor, but this one was completely different. It was seasoned perfectly, tasted delicious and the portion was very generous for the price. I was really impressed and will definitely be ordering it again.

The spinach stew, red stew, and jolaf rice are the best in the US. The egusi is delicious, and they know how to season the food.
