Today (a Thursday, at noon) in CLT, my husband and I were turned away at the Admiral’s Club because it is “capacity based, “ and they were full. Not only were we flying 1st Class, but we had purchased a day pass for $79 - each! The pass is non-refundable and non- transferable! Your consolation prize? “It’s good for a year!” Really? Because THIS is the trip we are going on this year. THIS is the trip with the 3+ hour layover.
SHAME ON YOU, ADMIRAL’S CLUB! If you know you will not have the capacity, even an hour after your customers walk through the door, STOP SELLING THE DAY PASSES!!!!
First time here. Trying this out over the Priority Pass Club CLT, in Terminal A. I loved how large and spacious this lounge is. Better food options. The avocado toast cart with smoked salmon and prosciutto was a nice welcome. My only complaint… and it’s a big one actually… is that we had to eat off of paper plates and plastic utensils. Really? I know it’s not a security issue because Club CLT has actual plates and real silverware, and they serve you! C’mon American, you can do better!
Second time here. Food quality was mediocre. Again, paper plates and finger foods = cheap. I’m paying $595/yr for this? I’ve had better continental breakfasts at Motel 6. I’ll downgrade my rating now
Joke of a place. Never has any room in the multiple times I’ve tried because gosh forbid I don’t fly a million miles a year
Great food!!!
Better than waiting in the terminal, but not by much.
This place can get busy sometimes and crowded. Hard to find a seat sometimes.
Nice way to spend a layover.

There was no real food. Basically continental breakfast, there was very little liquor at the bar. Not worth the price

Dingy, crappy food, an embarrassment to American Airlines. $5 for sparkling water that had no flavor, should have gone to a restaurant instead. We usually fly Delta, their lounges are much nicer, think we are going to give up on American.

The Admiral's club is usually a life saver. The food here is better now than it used to be. But it's so busy at this particular location you sometimes have to search for a seat. Not as nice as some of the other hub locations probably because CLT is way too overcrowded.

Always extremely helpful. Very unhappy with 2024 updates... having to walk around to D concourse to enter and then having to exit o C is very inconvenient especially for the $$$. This is even worse than Pandemic traffic flow.

Love the AA Clubs! But they are always missing 1 piece. BBQ chicken...no bread. Soup...no crackers.
Great service. Great choices.

The Admirals club for American Airlines is a lifesaver. If you’re a traveler, we had what turned into a 10 hour layover. I couldn’t imagine being out in just the terminal. The chairs are comfortable. They do serve food snacks their average they have a bar you can go out and bring food back in free Wi-Fi. It just gets you out of the main terminal with all the people, but it can’t become busy so unless you remember you’re never gonna get in.
