The food is so good, And the service is great
It says authentic Mexican, but there are Honduran dishes as well that are very good. The pupusas are also very well-made. Enjoyed lunch here on a weekday.

It is a very clean place and has very good Mexican flavor! What I loved most is that they have handmade tortillas and their waitress is very attentive!!!

If you want an authentic feel and environment, then this place is it. The music and staff are all Hispanic culture and the customer service....is remarkable. Everyone is trying Maria's, but Angela's is a hidden gem. Food is 8.5, and the feel is 12 out of 10. Try it for yourself.

Returned a second time. Tacos say $1.99 each Monday and Tuesday on table advertisements, it's not true, they are $3.99 each. It's probably not intentional, but false advertising. In addition, noticed a 3.5% fee to pay with card. Not going back. Prior visit = We are impressed with this place. In house tortillas are delicious and the restaurant looks very clean. Highly recommend.

Not the typical Mexican restaurant we usually visit. It feels more like home than a restaurant. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was very tasty and the portions were good. They serve cane sugar soda, nice.

My new favorite restaurant! Can’t wait to come back and try more! If you want the Americanized Mexican food and matching portions, then this isn’t for you. If you want the real deal, authentic real Mexican/Honduran, food then you will not be disappointed.

Friends recommended this place, but I seriously wonder if they were either starving or high because the food was not great. We gave a large dinner party. My mom and I ordered the fajita mix, but somehow we ended up with two different plates. Hers was full of meat, chicken, and large shrimp, while I got a mountain of bell peppers and onions, 5 thin strips of steak, 4 pieces of chicken, and 8 popcorn shrimp that weren't even deveined. Not to mention, everything was drained in oil. Yes, fajitas are oily, but when you can pour the oil in a cup, it's not good. When I raised the issue, they basically said, "it is what it is." Yeah, not a great experience for the price. Others at the table had problems with their dishes but kept quiet except for my uncle. He did talk up about getting a huge bowl of tripe soup with only two small pieces of tripe. Modongo is cheap, why do that. The waitress just shrugged. Overall, not a good experience. We won't be returning and can't recommend this place to family and friends. As a latin person, I'm embarrassing. I promise Charlotte has better Mexican restaurants. I walked 20 minutes in the rain for pozole and this was well worth it. Great little place. The food was as good if not better than what I used to get living in the Mexican area of East Los Angeles. Waitress was super kind and helpful, restaurant immaculately clean.
