I had the best experience with Archive Charlotte🄰 I placed a ginger-forward drink order on a hectic post-Christmas morning when my stomach was absolutely not on my side🤢Between running errands and unexpected plans, I’d completely forgotten about my orderšŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø and they actually called to remind me before closing, which I really appreciatedšŸ’›

When I made it there, the drink was deliciousšŸ˜‹ and genuinely helped settle my stomach, Exactly what I neededšŸ’— Great customer service, thoughtful follow-up, and a product that tastes good while doing its jobšŸ’– I’ll definitely be backā£ļø

Black owned. Lots of amazing history on the walls. My white chocolate mocha was perfect. Jazz music playing. Good amount of seating.

Some people came to work, I came to read, some came to chat, others came solely to check out the records, history, books they have.

I will return. Thank you for this experience.

The food is delicious, the vibe is delightfully all over the place, and it's just a nice place to break up the routine. I 10outta10, recommend.

Absolutely love the vibes, decor, music, and drinks. There were people sitting and chatting calmly and great music playing over the speakers. The person who took our order was nice and it wasn’t a long wait.

This was the best matcha I’ve had in Charlotte thus far. I got it with vanilla syrup and it was not overly sweet to where it covers the taste of the matcha, just a nice flavor to complement it.

I absolutely love this place! The decor, music, vibe, and service is 10/10. I wish more places like this existed! I tried the little red corvette refresher and cappuccino. The refresher has the perfect amount of sweetness and herbal components to it. I also appreciated that it wasn’t 1/2 filled with ice.

Yesterday, a friend and I visited Archive, and it was such a good experience all around. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness, and the space immediately felt warm and welcoming. The plants, the nostalgia, the overall vibe — it just felt right.

I ordered a hot latte with caramel and vanilla syrup, and it was really good. Smooth, not overly sweet, and made perfectly — I didn’t need to add anything to it. My friend ordered a hot latte with Foxy Brown syrup and enjoyed hers just as much.

One of my favorite parts was sitting there flipping through Ebony magazines and just taking everything in. I also had a brief conversation with the owner about how she acquired the items in the space, which made the visit feel even more special.

When we came in, there was a couple playing checkers, someone reading, and someone else working quietly. It felt like the kind of place you go to slow down — whether you’re meeting a friend, doing some work, or just needing a moment to yourself.
I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. 10/10 recommend.

I was there this morning after jogging. I walked in the door and was blown away. Smoove jazz, cozy, well decorated and genuine vibes. Service was amazing but the ambiance steals the cake. Genuine artisan coffee also. That Foxy Brown hit just right ā˜•ļøšŸ§˜šŸæā€ā™‚ļøšŸ’Æ

Super cute black owned coffee shop. As soon as we walked in it was like stepping back into the 80s/90s. The whole spot is a vibe, retro music, art, and print items on display. Space is small and intimate but very welcoming. Tea and coffee were good, however didn't try any of the pastries. I'd highly recommend this space and would go back again.

Archive CLT is a cozy little black owned coffee shop. This place is like walking straight into a childhood home with JET magazine, black artwork, bored games, cozy couches and chairs and the smell of your mama's morning coffee. The offer a small menu of coffee assortment. The service is pleasant and quick. The coffee is great and affordable. It is on the smaller side so you'll have to grab a seat where you can. There is some outside seating.
They do not offer food from what I can tell. There is a far amount of shared parking with the other establishments in the area.
All in all, Archive has always been a wonderful experience visiting.
