The sliders left much to be desired and it came with chips, which wasn't optimal. The drinks could be more balanced and the dj could be more vibe appropriate. However, the ambience was nice.

Great location. Wonderful vibe and beautifully decorated. Service was slow. Our server was not well versed in how the cocktails tasted and couldn't provide any in depth information on any particular drink. The drinks were nothing great and they took forever to come after ordering. Same with the food we ordered. Took at least 30 minutes for the baked skillet cookie to arrive. My friend even sent back her wine, saying it tasted like a bottle had been opened and left for a week before pouring. At one point we had to go looking for our server to order another drink. I would not be likely to come back considering the extensive other options in Charlotte for drinks and vibe. Disappointing to say the least.

Wosrt customer service ever! Rude and unproffesional. We were rushed out of the bar when the bar does not close until 1am. The worker came over making comments and rushing us out. However, there were still people on the balcony. This definitely put a bad taste in my mouth.

I visited the establishment to bring in the New Year and it was AMAZING!!! My first time there and I WILL be back. Our server, Hailey, was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The lights were low, people were dressed to impress. And the DJ?!!! Kept us dancing all night!! 10/10...the food left something to be desired, unfortunately 🫣

It was New Year's Eve and extremely busy but Dee and the rest of the crew behind the bar took excellent care of us. The DJ was fantastic! Overall great vibe. 10/10!

We purchased tickets for the new year's event at the Buho bar. The open table reservation implied that I came with sitting. I called several times over the week and a half to confirm a d no one responded to my messages or answered my calls. When we arrived at the e hotel we were told that our reservation did not come with a table and the event starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:40 for our 8:45 reservation and there was no sitting available at all. In fact people had coats over seats saving spots . We decided to go back to our room and try again in 30 minutes. Again there was no sitting available. It was a waste of money . There was no standing room at the bar we couldn't even order a drink or tapas! I was really disappointed I wasted my money and we were really looking forward to a nice evening.
Had previously been to Buho and this time around the drinks were not it. Between my husband and I we tried several different ones and didn't enjoy any they also didn't have 2 of the options of an already limited menu. Prices are higher than most bars in the area.

Food & cocktails were amazing. Once we received service, the staff was great, but we waited 30 minutes for our first drink. Our reservation was meaningless. They were crazy busy when we arrived & we were parked in a side lounge and ignored until we moved to empty bar seats. Again the food & cocktails were great & the staff very friendly & professional. If we had walked in I probably wouldn't have minded the wait, but the reservation set up an expectation that wasn't matched.

I love art & seeing sunsets at rooftop bars so I was beyond excited to find this place for my Charlotte birthday plans last Saturday. The site doesn’t say reservations are required & it appeared to be very spacious so I figured we could walk in that night as we aren’t picky about tables or standing at the bar. I had no clue we’d have such a hostile experience. The young blonde hostess was incredibly rude as soon as I approached & even more rude when asking about me not having a reservation while looking around the notably empty space as though there were no space for us. I told her we were fine at the bar/ being outside & didn’t require a room bc we wanted to see the sunset anyway. She asked “and you’re SURE it won’t be more of yall” while rolling her eyes before she walked me to the furthest part of the outdoor space. As my party started to arrive person by person, they ALL noted her rudeness as soon as they saw me. One of my guests went & grabbed a drink from the bar on her way in & the hostess came over and chastised us by saying “do you not have a server? Has your server not seen you? Please advise your party to not go to the bar.” I have NEVER had any bar anywhere say that before. It was cold & we asked a couple times if we could have the heater by us turned on & not only was it never turned on but staff kept coming out to just *look* at us without speaking. I want to note that maybe 4 people total came outside for a few minutes but that entire outdoor space was empty & we still were not loud or disruptive in any way. Our server was actually incredible. I wish I’d remembered his name to sing his praises here. I’d asked him if it was okay if I had a birthday cake brought up & he said it was. When the cake came, a manager came outside & chastised me in front of our entire group. He demanded to know if we’d communicated prior that we’d be bringing outside food (not sure why he wouldn’t have asked our server first). I let him know if there was a cake cutting fee it wasn’t an issue but that I did actually ask nearly 45 min before the cake came. The server had already brought plates & all for us. We shared some cake with our server, let him know he was the only good part of our experience & then we all agreed we’d never come back here. Lovely decor, nice server but hostile hosts & managers on top of syrup soaked drinks & unimpressive food.
I would recommend sorting these reviews from worst to best because I wish I had before going here.
