Food & cocktails were amazing. Once we received service, the staff was great, but we waited 30 minutes for our first drink. Our reservation was meaningless. They were crazy busy when we arrived & we were parked in a side lounge and ignored until we moved to empty bar seats. Again the food & cocktails were great & the staff very friendly & professional. If we had walked in I probably wouldn't have minded the wait, but the reservation set up an expectation that wasn't matched.

I love art & seeing sunsets at rooftop bars so I was beyond excited to find this place for my Charlotte birthday plans last Saturday. The site doesn’t say reservations are required & it appeared to be very spacious so I figured we could walk in that night as we aren’t picky about tables or standing at the bar. The young blonde hostess was incredibly rude as soon as I approached & even more rude when asking about me not having a reservation while looking around the notably empty space as though there were no space for us. I told her we were fine at the bar/ being outside & didn’t require a room bc we wanted to see the sunset anyway. She asked “and you’re SURE it won’t be more of yall” while rolling her eyes before she walked me to the furthest part of the outdoor space. As my party started to arrive person by person, they ALL noted her rudeness as soon as they saw me. One of my guests went & grabbed a drink from the bar on her way in & the hostess came over and chastised us by saying “do you not have a server? Has your server not seen you? Please advise your party to not go to the bar.” I have NEVER had any bar anywhere say that before. It was cold & we asked a couple times if we could have the heater by us turned on & not only was it never turned on but staff kept coming out to just *look* at us without speaking. I want to note that maybe 4 people total came outside for a few minutes but that entire outdoor space was empty & we still were not loud or disruptive in any way. Our server was actually incredible. I wish I’d remembered his name to sing his praises here. I’d asked him if it was okay if I had a birthday cake brought up & he said it was. When the cake came, a manager came outside & chastised me in front of our entire group. He demanded to know if we’d communicated prior that we’d be bringing outside food (not sure why he wouldn’t have asked our server first). I let him know if there was a cake cutting fee it wasn’t an issue but that I did actually ask nearly 45 min before the cake came. The server had already brought plates & all for us. We shared some cake with our server, let him know he was the only good part of our experience & then we all agreed we’d never come back here. Lovely decor, nice server but hostile hosts & managers on top of syrup soaked drinks & unimpressive food.
I would recommend sorting these reviews from worst to best because I wish I had before going here.

We came to Buho bar last week before the Stevie Nicks concert for some pre-concert food and drinks. We were also staying at the Grand Bohemian that night so it was very convenient. We originally sat outside but there were people smoking something from a vape and the smell kept wafting towards us so we moved inside. Also, while outside our server did not come back after bringing us drinks to take our food order. Once we were inside, we realized the bartender was the star of the show(did not get her name as she was so busy but she did have some cool glasses). We noticed that that not only was she taking a lot of orders, she was making ALL of the elaborate drinks for the entire bar. It was clear she was running the show and it was unfortunate that the other staff were not helping out more.
For drinks, we each got the “Grand Bo” old fashioned. We were pleasantly surprised that the old fashioned had a proper ice cube (square, not cloudy and even had GB initials on it which was cute). The drinks were tasty and we enjoyed the black walnut bitters.
For food, we ordered the charcuterie board, buffalo chicken flatbread, ahi tuna skewers and chicken skewers. The food was pretty good and was served hot. I really enjoyed the flatbread and the ranch flavor made it even better. My husband also liked his ahi tuna and chicken skewers and said they were cooked well.
Had it not been for the bartender, we probably would have walked out and got food elsewhere. Overall, I am happy we stayed and our bartender needs a promotion!

Let’s start with the views.. Amazing!! Inside is beautiful as well, kind of gives me princess jasmine and Aladdin vibes. The braised lamb flat bread was interesting.. wouldn’t say I’d order it again but it was not bad at all! Drinks are okay, a little heavy on the flavoring/juices. Overall.. definitely a cute little spot to go chill.

We sat at the bar and ordered a drink and fries. The bartender was slow and never came back to check on us once our food arrived. We had no silverware and had to reach over the bar to grab some. At the end of the night, my debit card was charged over $5k. Instead of apologizing for his mistake, the bar tender tired to charge my card again the correct amount. At that point, my card had been blocked. He came to tell me my card was declined, and that’s when i noticed the alert on my phone. We asked to see a manager, who told me this was likely a fraudulent text message because their charges are labeled under the hotel’s name, not the bar’s name. When I told him that this wasn’t an acceptable response and that my bank had put a hold on my card, he comped my expense, took down my name and number, and assured me that he would give me a call to confirm that the charge had not gone through in the morning. I never heard from him.

I fell asleep for a second in those comfortable red sofas. And it's a nice place.. I didn't know Bohemian people were pale...silly me, it honors the heritage here. Some of the pictures on the wall look a little scary. The food was good per my constituents. I didnt eat since Im vegetarian and there were no options for me except french fries. They offer some of the smallest chicken wings I have every seen in my life but everything the crew ate was delicious (they said) it was just a really small portion for the price. Service was fine. They had 2 different music genres playing, one inside and another out on the rooftop. Bathrooms were nice. I like the building. It had a elevator man who pressed the buttons to get us to the correct floor. Bright lights clear glass walls, fancy chandler on the main floor of the building...definitely a fancy vibe.

The drinks were ok. Nothing to write home about. Would of been nice to have the old fashion smoked. The service was ok. The chicken wings were not as expected. The smallest things I have ever seen. Don't order. Not wings at all and should not be called wings. Tuna skewers could have a different presentation. Flatbread was good.
We did not have food instead attending a wine tasting at their rooftop terrace. Very well produced, exceptional service, beautiful venue.

My friends and I visited to cheer my friend up. We had drinks, pizza, and micro wings. The wings were tiny but delicious. We sat on the patio of the bar for awhile. Overall, decent experience. The only thing I don't like is that they will only split the bill 3 ways, so we had to divide up the bill among our friends.
