Came back after many years and found out they are closing Baku and merging with Yama down the street. Love the concept of tapas in Japanese cuisine. My cocktail was very good made with gin and cucumber juice. All the tapas items were fresh and tasty. The Nigiri and Sushi roll were good as well (though at times the seaweed was chewy) The selection of fish was very fresh. May is the best waitress I've ever had! Make sure you sit with her and no one else! The experience will not be the same I promise you. All the food was good. Zero complaints. So sad they're closing
We celebrated my son's 23rd birthday at Baku last night and everything was wonderful. The food was outstanding, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. They even gave us the exact table we requested. It made for a really special evening, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be back!
