Bob's Carry Out Pile 'Em Up

I had this place on my list for a while. It wasn't bad - just nothing to get excited about. I had read the double cheeseburger was among the best in Charlotte, so I had high expectations. Upon tasting it, it wasn't anything special or worth making a special trip to. Place is a hole in the wall - which I generally like in an old, must-go establishment. Staff was friendly enough. But the burger certainly will not draw me back. It's also a bit pricey for a simple double cheeseburger.

Got gizzards and fries. Had to close the box several times and walk around. The food you get for the price is great. Hadn't been there in years.... a pleasure to come back

I ordered two fish and shrimp platters. They were hot and fresh, but lacked seasoning.

Just left Sunday 10/13/24 11am food was terrible grits not cooked all the way eggs burnt waste of my money turkey sausage eggs and grits with cheese cheese didnt even melt in the grits
