Brazilian Way Restaurant & Bar

Just move to NC, went there yesterday and had a good. John, The owner ,was very nice and do was all employees. I'll definitely go back

I would give zero stars if I could!
I was here for the Brazil vs Norway game on July 5th and I’ll never come back to this place and won’t ever recommend it to anyone!
Very unprofessional and unorganized, they charged $15 per person at the door justifying that it was to pay the dancers and band…. Then once inside the menu at the tables had different prices to what I was charged at the ordering window, for example the beef skewers were listed as $4.90 on their menu and when I ordered it I was charged $9.90. The beer bucket (5 beers) was $38?!? You can’t possibly think it’s ok to charge a $15 fee per person to watch the game and then double the prices on your menu.
On top of that my friends and I had to leave after the first half of the game because it was unbearably hot inside, I was sweating so bad and close to fainting from the heat.
As a Brazilian I was also upset that the game had started and we didn’t get to hear the national anthem because they still had the dancers dancing around.
We ended up taking our losses and went to a different bar after the first half.

Forced tip for all party sizes. Not cool.
Food was fine, some was good! Small portions for the price.
Service was pretty bad, slow even though we were the only table. Basically have to beg to order, beg for the check, never got waters refilled. We felt like they just wanted us to leave.
Hidden fees suck, and just lots of fees for a not great experience.

Atmosphere should be 10 stars!!! There is no better place in North Carolina to watch Brasil play in the World Cup! As a gringo myself, I have never felt a more welcoming environment!! I will definitely come back and recommend to friends! The food was also splendid, and the service was so fast and accurate.

The service was extremely slow even though when we got there the place was empty when we got there. No one attended us for 15 min and after ordering drinks, I stayed almost 40 min waiting for a picanha and I never got it

Please update your DoorDash menu, we can’t pick how we want our steak cooked! Got their food doordashed, I got the executive steak meal. It was dripping blood, deep red, undercooked. Couldn’t eat it.

Extremely disappointed – The hidden “card fee” scam is ridiculous.
I used to enjoy Brazilian Way Sports Bar back in the day for their happy hour and atmosphere, but this visit reminded me exactly why I stopped coming here since last year. They charged a $22.50 entrance fee (because of their show today) when I paid with a card, but told $20 cash. When I asked about the difference, they casually blamed “card fees.”
How on earth is the card fee more than 10% - $2.50 fee on a $20? That’s not a processing cost. That’s straight-up stealing. Everyone knows typical credit card fees for restaurants are around 2-3.5%. This is more than triple that. It feels deceptive and greedy.
The worst part is they act like this is normal and try to make you feel bad for using plastic in 2026. No signage upfront, just a surprise at payment time. Between this nickel-and-diming and the bad taste it leaves, I won’t be back. There are tons of other sport bars in town that don’t punish you for not carrying cash.
Save your money and go somewhere else unless you enjoy feeling ripped off.

This place used to be nice. Now it is dusty, food was worse than it used to be. Decadent for sure.

I never leave reviews. But tonight i ordered from Brazilian way after a long day of work, the food was inedible. It was cold and stale and tasted like old food that had gone bad. The meat was RAW inside. It was disgusting. Also the mess of the way they plate the food is unacceptable. Wish i had more pictures but the first bite made my husband and i feel like crap so we immediately threw it away.

SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!! NEVER GOING BACK!!! The food was mediocre. The plate was hot, the food was Luke warm. A person with us got chicken finger platter, looks like they were fried in old grease, very dark. Waitress was not attentive, never took a drink order, when we did order drinks, it came after our food after we reminded her. THEN then we got the $3 mineral water.... she put her hands over EACH CUP. It apparently was karaoke night (but we had no way of knowing that, because they have no website)...being entertained by the 4 people singing is probably how we kept our cool (and the only reason atmosphere got 3 stars instead of 1) . I explained to the one person on the staff that looked over 21, she looked apologetic but did nothing... her response was how was the food. Perhaps they don't care because they add 18% gratuity and a 4% credit card fee.
Overall ZERO stars ... would NOT recommend.
PS ... if you have card readers that you bring to the table, you should never have a reason to walk away with a patron's credit card.

Went there last night to grab some food and the drinks was really good. The steak was really good. The Brazilian waiter we had was really sweet. He let us try stuff that we didn’t know what it was before we ordered. The portions was very huge and a good price overall I had a good time. I will be back.
