Now, let me tell you, we ordered around 11 PM, and we didnāt get our food until about 12:30 AM. For 12 wings and fries, thatās a long wait. My boyfriend and I ended up watching almost an entire movie in the car while we waited.
When we finally got the food, the wings were *piping* hot, which I thought was great. I was like, "Okay, this is going to be good." But here's where things went downhill. We live only 11 minutes away, so we decided to say grace and eat our fries on the way home. But when I opened the fries, they werenāt hot at all, and honestly, they tasted like theyād been sitting around for a while, waiting for the wings to finish cooking. Iām almost certain thatās what happened. The fries were just... not fresh. I have to be honest, they were horrible. It completely took my experience from what couldāve been a 10/10 to a 6/10 real quick. We only had wings and fries, so the fries made up half of the meal, and they were just disgusting. No exaggeration, they were bad. You can trust this review; Iām not lying.
We paid over $4 for those fries, and after waiting over an hour for food, I expected them to not only be hot but actually good. Wouldnāt you? That was really disappointing.
As for the wings, letās talk about the hot honey sauceā*that* was good. The wings themselves, though? Iād give them a 2/5. Iāve had better wings. When youāre charging $18 for a 12-piece, the taste should match that price, right? Hereās the thingāI've seen a lot of TikTok reviews and other posts about how great this place is, but when I actually went, I felt like my boyfriend couldāve cooked the same thing at home, and it would've tasted way better. Plus, we would've had leftovers. But the lemonade? *That* was actually the best thing. 5/5 for the lemonade, no doubt. Also, the customer service and atmosphere were on pointā5/5 there too. And parking? No complaints. Itās easy to find a spot, so Iāll give that a 1/1.
In the end, Iām giving this a 2/5. But because the service and lemonade were great, Iām going to bump it to a 3/5 out of kindness. I have found a new gem. The Fried Shrimp Lomein is top tier. The portions are huge. Seasoning is on point. I havenāt had restaurant food this good in a while. My other favorites were the crab fries. Donāt forget the strawberry lemonade ???
