Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar

I called ahead and ordered a gluten free pizza because I have Celiac. When I received the pizza and after I ate a couple of bites I realized it wasn’t gluten free. I went back inside and asked to speak to a manager and explained to him the issue. He was very dismissive of the whole situation and just took the pizza and said he would bring a new one out. No apology or refund. I have been to this location and have had an issue before, but most of the time it’s good service and food just terrible management.

First meal after moving to the Queen city, was a bit busy but exceeded expectations

This was my second attempt at giving Brixx a try (after receiving a recommendation). They flat out failed! Host speaks so low you can’t hear a word he’s saying. As I was waiting for my to go order I watched one waiter try to deliver a salad to a table that hadn’t even been greeted yet (no drinks, and still looking over the menu).

As far as the food itself…tasteless. See picture of my chicken Alfredo. Where is the bacon crumbles that should be in there. I asked for no mushrooms so they got that right. Where is the seasoning, seriously?? I took two bites and was disgusted not only by the smell but also the lack of flavor. The chicken smelled like canned chicken. 🤮 The cheese/sauce was so thick and chunky I can’t even call it a sauce.
I also ordered two pizzas. The basic pepperoni and the white pizza. Pepperoni was decent this time but the white pizza was so soggy the crust towards the center of the pizza was stuck to the box and falling apart. Also lacked flavor!

I really have no idea how restaurants like this stay open.

Brixx is a family favorite for many years. We always love the Hawaiian and chicken club, but you can’t go wrong with any of the pizzas!

We come here every Friday!! It’s our favorite place, and every server is so amazing and friendly! The pizza is always top notch, and our order is always perfect no matter how detailed. The store is always clean too! Danielle helped us especially tonight getting us seated quick, which was great for my grandma who tends to get hangry. Leann, Boone, Riley, Max, and everyone at this Brixx are the best in Charlotte!! See you next Friday!

To have Pizza in Brixx is an excellent option!
Te best one in my opinion is the margarita one.

My friend and I enjoyed a quick bite and beer flight with our server/bartender, Wade, and he was great at the draft recommendations! :)

Visited Brixx for a quick week day lunch. We sat outside and had great service. The pizza was great and I am always pleased with their pizzas. Will be back!

Had not been in a while. Server LeeAnn was top notch. Items arrived in timely fashion. Salad & pizza were surprisingly good. Seems everything was better than previously. Seems the menu is more varied and flexible.
