My sister recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and we were craving something sweet. We found this little shop nearby and decided to walk over after seeing its great reviews. We got a box of their famous glazed croissants, a brownie, and a red velvet muffin. The croissants tasted just like a Krispy Kreme donut. It was soft and sweet. Everything was fresh and delicious. The customer service was exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I saw this establishment on TikTok. I was very excited to visit. The iced caramel macchiato is absolutely delicious. I also purchased the red velvet donuts and chocolate muffin with a cream center. The pastries are scrumptious as well. They have exceptional customer service. I look forward to my next visit!

Finally stopped in here and so happy that I did! The other reviews are spot on; Dwayne and Kim are super friendly, welcomed me right away, answered all of my questions, and helped me choose a few different filled croissants and a huge cinnamon crunch muffin. Everything was fresh and delicious. The croissants were really sweet, soft, and has a good amount of filling. Soooo good. I'll definitely be back!

Burney's Sweets in Waxhaw may have closed, but the original Burney's Sweets & More is still open in Charlotte off Davidson Street. The bakery has a huge range of pastry assortments. There are even gluten-free pastries. I normally get the cupcakes or red velvet chocolate chip cookies. Everything I've had from Burney's Sweets has been delicious.

Why have i lived 33 years of life and never had a glazed croissant!? And why aren’t more people doing this! I got 2 plain mini, one bigger cream cheese and one Bavarian. They were all amazing! My husband got a crumb cake and he said it was one of the best he’s ever had. The cream cheese croissant was definitely my favorite but i also loved the Bavarian it was so thick and full of flavor. The owners were so nice and helped us decide and informed us that they fill the croissants as you order them. We will definitely be back there was way too many things to choose from.

They are not kidding when they say sweet!
The glazed croissant is not only super low priced but also far better than a donut in texture and heaviness. I don't recall the last time someone has put so much attention into making a mocha, and the balance of flavor shows how important that is!
I will be stopping here any time I'm in Charlotte
