This place is fantastic. 5 stars. Beautiful food, service, and atmosphere.
I celebrated my birthday at Carolinas oyster bar last night. The hostess advised a table for two wait time was about an hour. I said okay, she responded back do you want to be added to the wait list? I got the fish and chips and it was so full of grease I could not even eat the fish. The only upside to the whole meal after $125 later was the amazing tartar sauce. Our waiter went MIA. Several times had to ask the manager to tab us out after waiting 15 to 20 minutes, any fast food restaurant would’ve been much better than what we had there

The food is consistently great, with standout dishes including lobster ravioli, oysters Rockefeller, crab hush puppies, wagyu burger, and lobster roll with grits. Guests have enjoyed the happy hour special that features delectable options like smoked salmon and calamari, both great for sharing. The calamari is noted for its light batter, and the smoked salmon dip is enhanced with crispy chips and vinegar onions. Many have also praised the $2 happy hour oysters for being salty, fresh, and not gritty at all. Some visitors found the shrimp and grits creamy and flavorful, while the seafood tagliatelle was noted for its perfectly cooked seafood.
