We went to Charlotte Cafe for the first time today and had very pleasant experience. Hostess and our waitress were phenomenal, very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and came to our table quickly. We walked in on a Sunday at 9:45am and there was no wait. Overall, we were very pleased and will be back!
Excellent food and service but there is a card on the table that advises that an additional 15% charge will be added to the prices listed on the menu. The reason was the soaring prices of food. I got two sides and paid $5 + 15%. Because the food is good, I may return but I won't order a meal. The prices are too high.
I'm a bit baffled by the negative reviews here. I've been eating here for years, and most recently brought my parents wh were visiting. There was a bit of a wait -- to be expected as this place is popular -- but not too long. My parents are bothe elderly and PICKY eaters and the wait staff was patient and informative about the options and food ingredients.I have NEVER had a problem with the quality of food, or the cleanliness of the establishment.
