My wife and I went to the Charlotte Hornets game on 3-8-25 and decided to stop here to get something to eat on our way home I got a text at 9:21pm saying that my food was ready but unfortunately when it became 10pm I’m still the only one waiting on my to go order so I notified the manager and he said that it was a mixup with my order and that he would correct it whatever that manager name is he was the nicest restaurant manager that I have ever met not only did I and my wife received a good hot steak dinner with those unbelievable delicious croissants but because of almost an hour wait he gave me a $40 gift card and refunded me my money and that’s what I called going above and beyond to make up for your mistake and making sure that the customer is satisfied I wish I knew his name but I give a big THANK YOU to the manager of the Cheddar’s in Charlotte NC

I came last week and spared them the review for the raw fish since the server I had was very pleasant with me. However, I came back just for vegetables and crescent rolls, a to-go order I had placed 15 minutes before arriving. I get here and the hostess working the to-go stand ignores me standing there to answer the phone then tells me to hold while she takes their order. I could be wrong, but isn’t it customary to tend to the person who is physically there first and put the customer on the phone on hold, then go back to the phone call and finish? Never again will I come to this restaurant at this location. Do better

Food was decent…

All I ordered was spinach dip and queso. Extremely long wait and then they lied and said it was being packed only to come back after asking for the truth and being told it would be another 5-10 minutes.

Steak was overcooked. Was supposed to medium well and there was no pink in it at all. And it was bl a convenient it Frozen drink5D 5.00 pwere nice as well the rest of the food... spinach dip was great

The server had an attitude the whole time. It was cold we were not comfortable the food was not good at all.

Service and food were not good!! Dont waste your money KFC is better

The restaurant was dirty. Our waitress was not well trained and the manager was rude. Our food took a long time to come to the table and the order was wrong and the presentation was amateurish. I will not visit that Cheddar's again.

UPDATE: Most recent visit was a total fiasco. Waiter took my order, an hour later realized he had not turned it in. Manager apologized, brought me a house salad and “called it even”. Have not been back since. University location, Charlotte NC

PRIOR REVIEW: Excellent food, excellent prices! They have suffered with staffing shortages, same as so many retail establishments post-COVID, but the food never suffers. Definitely worth the wait!

Went on a Sunday. The wait was not too bad. Restaurant was clean. Server was nice and attentive. Did reasonably priced. About $60 - e didn’t order from the bar.

We had pasta dishes. A fan favorite was the hunger butter croissants but I was the only one not a fan. It had a weird after taste… I didn’t even finish it. I actually liked the garlic bread better.

They do not sub items. I wanted the salmon n shrimp with pasta or another veggie instead of rice… NOPE.

My friend wanted to sub the chicken for shrimp… NOPE

We would’ve paid the difference
