As a first timer in Charlotte, I had a great experience at this city bbq. Andrew was very kind, patient and gave great recs, like the collard greens which were tasty. Had to leave a review due to the great service and clean establishment!

Absolutely fantastic food and even better service. Taylor's takeover as GM blasted City Barbecue into the stratosphere. I love service that feels more like a casual meet with a new friend, rather than a clinical transaction; and Emily and Alex go above and beyond in this regard every time. I would do unholy things for a Smokehouse Salad with brisket, hardboiled egg tossed in, smothered in the house Chipotle Ranch and Brushfire sauce. Keep on rocking.

I had an amazing experience at City Barbecue today! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch—General Manager Taylor is a rockstar, and his team is the epitome of hospitality and efficiency. They run a tight ship and make you feel genuinely welcome.
