Never ever go to this if you are really hungry. Waited for more than 2hrs to get the food to our table. No one showed up to take the order waited for nearly 30mins.

I used to love this place, but not no more food don’t taste the same. I order empanadas de Camaron and they where burn the beans. Don’t taste the same and I told the manager, and she had an attitude never again. No wonder there is no ppl coming no more to this place service is good that’s the only thing good here

When I called to place a to-go order the person on the line hung up on me, I then went to the restaurant to order and the price didn’t match the online menu, the food was mediocre.

Everyone should come here, we tried molcajetes, ceviche, camarones zarandeados, calamari, virgin mojitos, and agua frescas and everything was amazing. Katie was our server and made our experience so amazing, she took family photos for us, brought us sauces she thought we would like, and sampled of horchata and agua fresca. She was the best waitress we’ve had in a while, we hope to come back again!

Such good service and great tasting food! Our server was Katie, she made our experience absolutely amazing. We’re out of town from Maryland and we will come back, the prices, the food, the service is all 10/10. Wish we took more pictures to share.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they brought my grandson a kiddie water with a cherry, they played with him every time they walked by, all the staff was very sweet.

Upon entering, I was quite impressed with the theme and concept of the place. However, I found the service and food to be lacking. When I requested rice instead of beans, the server seemed unable to accommodate my request, which I found surprising. The beans served did not appeal to me either, as their appearance was unappetizing. It would be beneficial for the staff to enhance their customer service skills to create a more welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I believe there are areas for improvement that could greatly enhance the dining experience.

I feel very lucky to have found Univercity's Costa Maya Restaurant in Charlotte. The Manager Irene is Super attentive as is J.J. And the food is not to mention delicious, the seafood is always very fresh and the seasoning and flavor is not to mention 100% recommended.

Me and my family were craving some authentic Mexican food so we made a stop here before our six hour road trip home. It was worth it!! The food and the service were amazing, Katie you’re the best, we haven’t felt this comfortable at a restaurant in ages.
