Decent experience overall. We enjoyed the setting and the food. Our server was wonderful however we did place an order for app items and complimentary bread. We did not receive those items until after our entree were in front of us almost an HOUR later. We reminded our server of these items a few times. Slightly disappointed in that. The food was great.
I was disappointed with the table they assigned. The table was right in the bar, and adjacent to a service door, unappealing and noisy. I traveled from Houston for a business meeting in Charlotte and had booked a month in advance. It was difficult to have effective conversation. Otherwise, the food and service were both top notch.
We live in Charlotte and had wanted to try Dean's for a while. Two of us gave them a try – for brunch – on a Sunday that we were going to the football game. Our service was commendable considering how busy the place was. Filled to capacity and I can imagine it is tough to get “extra” staff to work on Sunday mornings. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, we with whom we interacted was pleasant and proficient. We both ordered the “Brush Creek Ranch Brunch Burger”....
