Why have I been sleeping on this place?! I’m vegetarian and prefer lighter fare, but my meat-loving husband has been wanting to go here for years. I finally caved bc a local legend diner did sound nice…

I’m still on a mission to try most of the old restaurants in Charlotte, NC. The patty melt and French fries did not disappoint. I like the old school vibe they had in there and everyone was very nice.

Need more advertising cause babbbbbbbby when I said food was good. Yassss the food was good and seasoned well. Waiter just started but he was personable as well as polite. Bartender- let's just say you better tip her
