Dogwood Southern Table & Bar offers a delightful dining experience inside the Westin Uptown Charlotte. The restaurant serves delicious dishes, such as the fried oysters, shrimp and grits, 8-ounce filet mignon cooked to perfection, and raw oysters and shrimp po boy. The bread on the shrimp po boy was toasted to perfection and so fluffy inside, served with amazing perfect fries that were seasoned. The burgers, croquettes, duck, and chicken sandwich were all really well prepared. Cocktails were really good and creative, with one reviewer highlighting a creative and friendly bartender. The atmosphere is fantastic, with huge windows overlooking Uptown creating a wonderful ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a date night. The service is great, with friendly, attentive, smart, and hospitable waitstaff. The wine recommendations are also well-regarded. The strawberry shortcake and carajillo were also delicious and filling.
