We've been here a bunch and keep coming back. FOOD: All yum! Pay the extra $4 for fresh pasta. Apps: The Prosciutto and Burrata is a yum appetizer. We also like the little dish of beans that come with the complimentary bread. You get one complimentary refill of bread, then they charge you. Entrees: Our favorite dish is the Buttara. Amatriciana is another favorite of mine. Hubs also likes Penne Alla Vodka with Shrimp. My dad likes the Chicken Parmesan (note it doesn't come with pasta, thats another ~$9 for a side of (out of the box) pasta). There is no kids menu, they can sell you a "kids pasta" which is sauce and out of the box noodles. Drinks: Everything is good. Dessert: Save a few bucks by getting Duck Donuts next door or TCBY across the parking lot.

We're disappointed in what was a birthday celebration with 6 of us at a table. Check came without separating check and manager seemed irritated with having to separate it. A few minutes later he informed us that they need the table when there were plenty still available and it looked like the surge of folks coming in was minimized. We won't be back!

Food is great, service seems to rush its customers out the door though. Been 3 times and experience was the same each time. Food is fantastic

The owner should know better than to call it Italian cuisine, other than the garlic and oregano they use. The owner is rude and tacky. Not a place I would ever recommend. I'd rather eat Chef Boyardee out of a can.

Went here for my wifes 60th birthday in January. It was restaurant week so they had a limited menu. Food and service was excellent. Nice atmosphere. A little pricey but great place for that special nite out!!!!!!

Dining at Dolce Osteria is like dining in a small restaurant tucked into the streets of Rome. The intimate setting, simple ingredients, and classic dishes make it a delightful spot to dine.

Sempre fantastico! Dolce è l'unico ristorante italiano nella zona di Charlotte che merita di essere preso in considerazione. Ottimo menu e cibo delizioso. E Rita è un'ospite meravigliosa! Ti divertirai tanto quanto me! -Luigi Always terrific! Dolce is the only Italian restaurant in the Charlotte area worth your consideration. Great menu and delicious food. And Rita is a wonderful host! You will enjoy it as much as I do! - Luigi

Our favorite Italian stop in Charlotte. We've been dining here for 3 or 4 years now every few months and what we love about Dolce is their consistency of food quality and service. Have to get the home made pasta when you have a dish that has pasta, it's superior!
