The food was great. I had the spring salad with salmon. I also had Green Man porter beer. It was delicious.

This was a nice spot for some breakfast! They served lunch and dinner items, but we were here for breakfast! The food was good, and there was a wait, but we got in because we sat at the bar. Friendly staff. Busy with takeouts! We will come back for lunch. A lot of people were getting the ribs!

Chicken and waffles came out hot and tasted so good I didn’t stop for picture but the grits though didn’t like texture and taste of you like creamy but thick grits with more seasoning maybe try the country style breakfast instead or waffle. our server Rachel was so nice and even changed my order for me right after I placed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting we sat at a booth with good space. I think this is a great spot for breakfast I read the one star reviews but I did not experience anything close to one star service.

Ok, guys, so we're back! I have a gem to tell y'all about today, but this one is different all the way. I usually don't talk like I am about to talk now, so here go. Eddie's Place . . . This place warmed my heart. If you notice my pictures, my family is a blended family. We have different cultures, personalities, and colors blended into what makes us, well, us. Many times, the things I do not post are how awkward a place can make us feel as people, as a family, but it happens, people seem racist in many ways when we go to places. For example, when we go to restaurants, people will ask what they can do for us, not just seat us, I mean, it's a restaurant it should be obvious why we are there. Eddie's place . . . They got it right from start to finish. I came in first by myself to kind of check the place out, got greeted with a great smile, at the door as I waited for my turn the outside had overhead warmers to keep me warm, as it was cold outside that evening. When they had a place for my party of six to fit into, we all came in, and we weren't really gawked at or anything weird. By the way, the wait wasn't long at all, like maybe 5 minutes, maybe. The table was clean, and the atmosphere was wholesome and inviting. The server came immediately, with a hey y'all, she was awesome, but I can't remember the name. This place had a great menu, wasn't expensive, and had a little something for all of us from 9 years old to 40 years old. When the food came, we had everything from breakfast meals to dinner. The server went out of her way to find us things we were randomly asking for (condiments and such). They had different people bringing out the food. All were super nice! I believe the manager stopped by a couple of times delivering food and asking how we are. We were spending time together too, and no one made a big fuss about us being there longer than most tables around us. Awesome time, awesome place, amazing service, and great food. Bottom Line . . . This should be on your places to go in Charlotte, best mom and pops wholesome, welcoming feels I had in some time. We will be back!

Did not like the sausage patty. Grits were a little cold.

I am speechless... Let me just say that I no longer need to drive to the beach for She-soup. I got lucky to taste (x3) the world's Best She 🦀 soup, here in Charlotte, NC. I'm sold 🤤. Thank you Chef Alberto Toussaint 👏🏽🥂

Shout-out to my colleague who introduced me to Eddie's Place on 11/21/24

It was quite tasty. We were able to get in about 20 minutes after just walking up on a Saturday morning. Will definitely go back the next time I am in Charlotte!

I wish I had taken photos, maybe next time. I ordered the shrimp & grits; fabulous. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito with red beans and rice; just like New Orleans. We shared some She Crab Soup; the best we've had since Florida. It may be a 2 hour drive, but we will definitely be back ..... YUMMY!!!
