I have ordered two large custom cakes twice from this shop! Excellent customer service and the owner Jackie is super easy to work with. Everyone loved the cake designs and the taste of both cakes. I have ordered custom cakes in the past from other shops over the years in Charlotte and this cake shop is far by the best!
My surprise birthday cake was picked up by a friend who had to ask the shop to get a bigger box because it wouldn’t close and the solution was a piece of aluminum foil with tape. You’re a custom cake shop, how do you not have several box sizes to accommodate … ???
The artwork was wonderful but the cake itself was quite lacking. Dry and no real flavor. Sad. I love cake but didn’t eat more than my one slice and the other half of the cake went into the trash.
Ordered a custom cake with almond flavor. Before ordering we purchased a sample. The sample was great. The look of the cake was great. However, the cake itself was very dry and extremely sweet. No one, out of 15 people could eat an entire slice of even the smallest slice. For the cost, and a very special occasion, we are very dissatisfied and will not order there again.
