To begin, we had fresh squeezed OJ (sat near the machine making the juice...). My wife and had a 5 hour airport Iayover in Charlotte, so we decided to get breakfast downtown. The main floor has limited seating, but the basement has more room. While the setting is a little boring, the food is exquisite. I had the corned beef has with eggs. I don't remember what my wife ordered, but she devoured it (and she rarely finishes a meal). The hosts are friendly, and very hospitable....
The omelet was made, and the veggies were just rolled into the egg AFTER it was cooked. Waitress forgot our order multiple times and didn't have the courtesy to tell us they had no sour mix for the margaritas. She sent someone else to tell us and take our drink orders which took another 10 min. The restaurant wasn't crowded....
This restaurant for breakfast was amazing. The team of waiters that took care of us were over the top. We had a Blah, Blah, Blah Omelette that was excellent. The wheat toast was exceptional. The other entree was eggs and toast which was also very good.
