This place has been in business for over 20 years and I totally understand why. The food is consistently delicious and made with love by the owner. The son runs the register and is so happy and helpful every time we go. Always a pleasant experience with Korean and Japanese options. I love their vegetarian bibimbop! Tempura chicken pictured below, my bf loves it!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian bibimbop, veterinarian teriyaki, vegetarian tempura, side salad and miso soup.

This restaurant is tucked in a cute little alleyway in uptown Charlotte. It has a variety of teriyaki with meats and specialty entrees. The portion was good but I really wished I had more of the side of veggies that was included with a meal. The chicken and ribeye teriyaki was flavorful and moist. The chicken katsu was breaded and fried to a crisp perfection. Overall, a decent lunch spot. My pup also seemed to enjoy the smells and snacks.

I don't want to be mean but the bulgogi at this place just wasn't it felt and for the price that it was even worse I rather pay a few more dollars for better bulgogi

Delicious food, super generous portions, unbeatable prices - if I lived in Charlotte I'd eat here every day!! The food came out really quickly, and the people working there are so nice. In Lady Gaga's words: talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular Too busy inhaling the food to take a picture but my mom and I got the bulgogi, my dad got the seafood teriyaki, my sister got the bibimbap, and our food came with rice and salads and miso soups. Yum yum yum

First place having lunch in Charlotte and found this nice little hole in the wall. I find it a little unusual that all the restaurants close really early, but regardless I'm glad we're able to get our food with only an hour left to spare. My first impressions is that this restaurant is super tiny and there's not much space inside of the restaurant with only a couple chairs and limited amount of table space, but it doesn't really matter because there's plenty of seating directly outside and a park directly across the street. I ended up ordering the Chicken Katsu meal which included rice, veggies, and curry sauce. On the side it included a salad and miso soup. The consistency of the chicken and rice was warm and tasty for what it was. The curry sauce was added separately, but I think without adding the sauce would make the chicken overall a bit too chewy and bland to eat. Overall if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or food to save for later, this place is great for that.

Got take out from Fujiyama today. The staff was super nice. I got the teriyaki vegetables which comes with grilled vegetables, white rice, and a side salad with really good house dressing. Pretty good and one of the few options that is still open in Latta Arcade.

This is the best place in Charlotte for traditional Japanese food hands down. The Katsudon is amazing and for the cost there is no place in Charlotte that can beat them.I really wish they stayed open longer than lunch, I could see them killing it with the dinner/late night crowds. It's the only reason stopping me from eating there every other day!

I took a risk on this spot after chipotle was stuffed, and I'm so happy I did. Exceptionally perfect shop. The client support was superb and the menu is not difficult to peruse. The food was really delectable, I got the chicken bibimbab without carrots. Would return once more!
