Golden Gate Chinese Fast Food

Does anyone know if the previous owner moved to another place or something like that? I loved the seasoning??

The fact that it was empty should of been the first sign. The portions were extremely small and the food was very bad (I had tothrowitaway). They painted the dining area but that doesn't make-up for the diminished food quality. On a good not, the cashier was very friendly and professional.

Under new management and owners food is amazing and price went up a little but well worth it I’ll be going back

I never knew you could ruin a Singapore Rice Noodle dish!! The noodles tasted watery and it barely had any flavor! I was disappointed and live on the other side of town, otherwise I would have brought this dish back and requested a refund!

As I read the other reviews from people, it amazes me how ignorant people really are. The old owners and food they served was amazing, but people move on. The new owners are polite and nice and give a good sized serving for the price. The new recipes are really good and ofc not going to be like the old one hints a new owner. The negative comments don’t really make sense. If you do like them because they’re Hispanic, it shows what century you’re living in.

So I went for a job interview and I was told that I was going to be hired it was a full-time job from 10:00 to like 9:00 at night I went in for my first day of work in the Spanish owner told me to go home because the shirt I was wearing was not proper attire to work as a cashier he followed by telling me that if someone comes and eat food there that they won't come back because of the way I was dressed I felt so humiliated but now after reading all of the comments of this restaurant I realized that my entire would have never done anything it's better yet his lack of cooking skills that scared the customers away

Just an FYI. After 30 years the original owners closed on April 20, 2024. The new management is not chinese and ate there a week ago. Everything tasted more mexican than chinese. Not sure if it was chinese with a mexican influence or Mexican with a chinese influence. I was not impressed at all with either the cashier or food. Was not greeted and the girl was on her speaker phone (loud) with people which was very annoying. Will not go back and wish the previous owners a great retirement. You had great food!

The food is really disgusting and apart from the prices for what they give they are unfair and very bad service, they serve you in a bad way and that they are all Hispanic apart from if you pay in cash it is another price on a normal card or on higher credit. price of 5 in 5 I will not return I was a customer for 16 years and now I will not return with these new ones

Please don’t gate keep. Anyone. Please post a review if you know of another restaurant with the old recipe/style of cooking that this restaurant use to have. From my understanding the new owners were given the recipe to the original food but based on the food they are cooking now looks like they didn’t care to follow the instructions and are cooking different variations which I don’t care for. Tisk tisk. If I find a new place I’ll update this review and let y’all know & the 5 stars is to throw off the Google algorithm and bump my review to the top so more people can see it but tbh I would rate this new golden gate ZERO stars.
