Gotcha Matcha & Espresso Reviews
I've had matcha twice and hated it both times. I went to Gotcha Matcha today after a recommendation from the receptionist at our dentist office. I thought I better learn to at least tolerate it before we hit Japan. Well, apparently my love of coconut makes matcha WONDEFUL! Eric was working the counter and I could totally hang out with that guy all day! SUPER helpful, knowledable and friendly ❤️
Jazmine, a fantastic barista, was friendly and meticulous in her preparation of our drinks. She embodies the quintessential qualities of a great barista, particularly in her expertise in making matcha. I truly appreciate her services today.
Eric is probably the best 👌 person ive ever met as far as people that do a service like making drinks or food and really to be honest he was the first person that I have talked to in years that really made me feel like he was listening, mostly because we talked about more than just coffee but still

Gotcha Matcha & Espresso is a charming spot loved by many. The owner's knowledge and charisma add to the experience. The new location in Uptown may be smaller but still offers excellent service and drinks. Customers enjoy drinks like the hot Chai Latte with Oatmilk, full of robust flavors. The iced Biscoff Matcha Latte is another favorite—velvety smooth and addicting. The staff is friendly and happy to recommend drinks based on preference. The cozy inside is perfect for a chat with friends, coworkers, or solo visits. Visitors from other cities, like Chicago, often praise the matcha and the charm of the place. Many say the atmosphere is relaxing, the service friendly, and the drinks excellent. The menu includes unique pastries like the ube cinnamon roll, and the cookies are highly appreciated. Although it’s a small, hole-in-the-wall spot, once found, it’s a delightful place for a morning coffee or matcha and a homemade snack. Overall, it’s a clean, inviting space with a chill vibe, making it a favorite for those seeking a cozy and tasty experience.
