Great Wagon Road Distilling Company

Really enjoyed our first visit to Great Wagon Road Distilling Company! The space is open, relaxed, and dog-friendly both inside and outside, which is always a win for us.

They have a pretty good selection of beer and wine by the glass, and it’s really cool that they distill their own spirits on-site. We shared a pizza—it was okay—but there are other food options like a giant pretzel and a few snacks if you’re hungry.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which really made the experience. This place deserves more attention—it’s so much more than just a distillery. Whether you’re into craft spirits, beer, wine, or just want a fun, laid-back place to hang out with friends (or your dog!), there’s something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!

I go almost every Tuesday night for run club. Love the pizza and as someone who doesn't particularly like gin I really enjoy their gin & tonics ($5 on Tuesdays!). They have some pretty good spirits and various drink deals throughout the week. Dog friendly inside and out. Parking available on site and across the street.

We had our wedding reception in their private barrel room and it was INCREDIBLE!! We had about 50 guests and the room was perfect size. Imagine string lights, moody lighting, bourbon barrels lining the walls, and comfy leather couches/chairs for your guests. This was the perfect venue for us and exactly what we imagined! Ashley and her team at Great Wagon were amazing to work with and helped us every step of the way. High recommend an event at Great Wagon Noda!

Less talked about (at least seems to be) but has some of the best cocktails in Charlotte. Pizza is solid too. The staff is always nice, welcoming and atmosphere makes you feel at home.

We hosted our wedding in their private barrel room on 11/01/2025 and it was perfect! We wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you, for the outstanding customer service throughout the booking experience and the actual event. Everyone was fantastic and ready to help. The event space was beautiful and just perfect for what we wanted. We were so pleased and we highly recommend GWR for your next event.

We chose the private event space for our wedding because we love coming here on Sundays. The pizza is delicious, we love the relaxing environment and great beverages. Plus it's always clean!

The bartender, Cesar, made no attempt to be friendly even though he wasn't busy. The bar was out of two liqours needed for signature drinks. No attention was paid. I could have easily walked my tab.

Your bar at CLT, gate A31, is so poorly run, the bartender didn’t know what Segura Viudas Rose Cava was, and it is on the menu. She couldn’t find a pen to sign the check. The music is atrocious. Not a good advertisement for your place in Charlotte. But the plastic wine glasses are chic, too bad the wine sucks. Kathleen King
