Had it about 3 years ago and it was a highlight of my trip, came back this time and not sure if it is same guys but looked like they were still learning how to run the cart. Food did not have as much flavor, no seasoning/salt..Service was fine, seemed like they were still learning, working hard. Wishing you guys the best

This is hands down the most sorry halal plate in America. First off, they absolutely play you by putting a thin layer of crumbled meat and then it’s all rice and shitty romain. On top of them trying to play you, if you order on grubhub they dont even give you sauces bro. Honestly, smh. I do not recommend.

…don’t get fooled by the hype. As a native NewYorker, the halal food on The corner of Trade & Tryon is officially TRASH.
Street food… Whether it’s a hotdog, Halal, or a slice of pizza to go, should always be consistent. And the quality of this spot is NOT what it used to be .
10 yers later, and Now it’s just a box of tasteless meat and rice, and soggy lettuce.
They don’t even include the spicy red sauce when you ask for it.
It’s time to give our business to the other halal guy in 5th & Tryon.
