The restaurant was not busy and there was not any movement going on but all of the things to have a great time were in place. There were pool tables, music, seating and great authentic food. We were greeted positively when we walked in and the person who took our take out order was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The jerk chicken with rice and peas, Mac, and plantains was the best we've had in Charlotte. So was the fried red snapper with yams, rice and peas, and plantains. The snapper was delicious with the rice and peas and I had spicy jerk sauce to top it off. A nice find in a quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to going back.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were plentiful and just as delicious as the other options.

Went to get food only to get home an open the box and first thing I saw was yellow skin at the bottom of the drum (which was still left on the chicken ,so it wasn’t cleaned properly) and covered with the jerk sauce and cabbage tasted like vinegar…. wasted

Me and my Wife had Rosta Pasta it was very watery no good flavor of The Pass Pasta Experience at this Location and to make it Clear that we're not going Back after finding a longgggg stran of HAIR in Our Meal after the Third Bite??? My a got SICK!

This place is hit or miss. The only thing that is fresh is the fish because they prepare it to order. Rice is too cheap not to be cooked fresh daily and the last few times you can tell the rice was not fresh. Macaroni and cheese was definitely cooked a couple of days ago because the cheese was hard, burnt and not fresh. In order to be successful you need to have consistency with the food. These plates cost too much money to serve mediocre food.

Food came out cold, when my wife asked for a refund they flatly refused. Coco-bread tasted like regular bread. Beef patty seemed to taste ok.

It was my Birthday ? I got oxtails, jerk chicken, rice and peas cabbage, greens, yams, and Mac and cheese !!! I made my Mom a plate and she lived it!!! I was Happy about that!! Especially cause she's not particularly a fan; But she grew up in that very block!!! E. 15th between Allen& Pegram!!!! She liked it Soo much she asked me how much did it cost and she needed more real food in her life!!!!!Anyway my Slim got curry chicken, I didn't taste, but he scoffed it down? I wanna go back and play some pool and turn up!!! Blessed; Bless Up❣️

Very good food. Service is friendly and quick. Food is made to order. The restaurant is within in a residential neighborhood. Very homie environment.
I got the oxtail,greens & peas n rice with a chicken patty. The oxtail was a bit tough the flavor was good but a bit too sweet for me. The Greens the flavor was good but somewhat greasy & rice n peas was fair just sticky.The chicken patty was hard.

Ordered the BBQ jerk chicken it was blah. Being from ny I'm used to the jerk BBQ being something off the steel drum and the sauce being home made. The sauce here taste like bottle BBQ. The ric and peas were aight. Nothing to write home about and the Mac and cheese was lackluster. The yams were on point and the chicken pattie and coco bread were both fresh and flavorful. I would return to try something else, but why when crav n Caribbean has the best food in the charlotte area. Only thing is there only open 3 days a week.
