Honeysuckle Gelato Optimist Hall

Honeysuckle is a great, quick gelato option in Optimist Hall. When I visited, they had two vegan options — ube and chocolate sorbet. I decided on the ube which had the taste of marshmallow fluff. It was fun and colorful. I appreciate that they label all of their choices with allergy ingredients. As such, it was easy to tell which had non-diary and non-eggs. I recommend Honeysuckle for a quick treat to hit your sweet tooth if you are in the area. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-17

The gelato is great but staff is very rude reminding you every second that you only get to try only to flavor. Put a freaking sign instead of being a jerk.

Tasty gelato with good flavors!

My family and I enjoyed coming here to get a tasty cold treat!
We were pleased that you can get 2 flavors in a small cup, so we all did- just big enough to hit the spot!

I recommend giving this place a go if you’re in the Neighborhood

Kid-friendliness: Small cup was perfect for the kids; they liked eating their ice cream with the sample spoon!

Been to Honeysuckle many times but I don’t think I’ll come back. Today was at least the third time that the gelato was flavorless and loaded with ice crystals. I was told by an employee that everything is made in Atlanta and brought over. Maybe that’s it cause it tastes like it was frozen, melted then refrozen again. I should have asked for my money back but I decided to go to another, more reliable shop for come ice cream redemption

Really good gelato. They were so helpful in describing flavors and pairings. Loved loved loved the toasted marshmallow!

The best flavors!!! Love me some lavender and the peach sorbet. Every visit to Optimist Hall includes a visit here! Wish the server kids were more friendly but I guess that’s everywhere.

I wanted a sweet treat to go with my grilled cheese. Honeysuckle didn't disappoint. The staff was pleasant and offered me samples to help me decide on a flavor. Looking forward to returning.

My daughter and I enjoyed our trip to Honeysuckle. The staff was very patient and offered to flavor tastings for each of us.

Pricing was okay, about $15 for a kid scoop and a double scoop.

First timer here. The young lady who pleasant and let me try two flavors I ended up buying - key lime and lemon bar. Overall great!

The variety is what stood out for me, the only issue was that they only allow for (2) samples per visit. With so much variety, it may take 3 or 4 samples to make ur best choice that day.

Parking: you scan a code which allows for the first 90 minutes free, then it's $5 for up to 3 hrs

We visited on 4/12 when two young gentlemen were working. We walk up to the counter and the young man in front of us was on his phone, saw we were there, and then turned to the side and continued to be on his phone. We were so confused, and then he proceeds to walk away without saying anything. The second young man then walks over and lets us know that they can’t serve us because there is a flood in the building. We walk away to our table that’s right next to Honeysuckle when we see another group walk up less than a minute after us and get gelato! They had no issues serving them. I’ve never experienced something so rude yet so weird? Will never be returning.
