Jimmy John's

This is the second time we have ordered for delivery and have not received! First time they didn’t have a driver available so they outsourced. (Never showed up and husband called and had to go to store pick it up.)
We ordered this time over a hour ago and tried calling to check on our order and someone answered the phone and hung up. Tried calling 3 more times and no one answered. My husband is on the way to the store now to cancel our order. We don’t mind spending $72 for sandwiches (that is what our order cost is) BUT we would like to have our sandwiches to eat in a somewhat timely manner! And communication is very important! Highly disappointed and now have to make dinner for kids who are hungry and who have been waiting for over a hour to eat!

I truly hate leaving negative reviews—especially for one of my all-time favorite chains—but unfortunately, this particular Jimmy John’s location (10032 University City Blvd, Charlotte) fell far below expectations.

Our visit on a Sunday afternoon was disappointing from start to finish. From the moment we arrived at the drive-through, the staff member who assisted us was incredibly unwelcoming. We tried to ask a few simple questions about the new toasted sandwiches, but were met with dismissiveness and flat-out rudeness/ ignorance. While I understand that working in a busy food service environment can be challenging, there’s no excuse for the level of disrespect we experienced. He repeatedly cut us off mid-sentence and seemed uninterested in helping us at all.

We ended up ordering two classic subs with a few add-ons—which we were charged for—but those additions never made it into our sandwiches. What we received was a sloppy, thrown-together mess that didn’t resemble what we ordered. To top it off, we spent nearly $40 on food that was simply not worth it.

I still love Jimmy John’s as a brand, but I’d strongly recommend avoiding this location—especially on Sundays, when this particular employee may be working.

Great sandwiches perfect every time

Freaky fast? More like freaky SLOW!!! Waited over 20 minutes for 4 sandwiches, after ordering pickup and waiting in the car for 5 mins. What a joke!!!

Subject: Urgent Health Concern – Foreign Object Found in Bread

Dear Corporate Team,

I’m reaching out to report a very disturbing issue I encountered with a recent food order. As I was about to eat my meal, I discovered what appears to be hair embedded in the bread. This is completely unacceptable and deeply concerning from a sanitary and health perspective.

I’m requesting that this matter be investigated immediately. I can provide the details of the location, date, and time of purchase, as well as photos if needed.

As a consumer, this experience has caused me to question the cleanliness and safety standards being upheld, and I believe it deserves urgent attention to ensure this does not happen to others.

I would appreciate a prompt response regarding the steps your company will take to address this.

Great place to eat friendly staff and fast service. Outdoor seating was a plus Great area for selfies..lol the picklewhich was so juicy!!

The manager for some reason is always telling us that there system doesn’t take rewards and that the policy is to go online first.

Ok so, we get Jimmy John ALL THE TIME! At least twice per week....and I’m not joking. There are 2 other Jimmy John that we go to. None of them EVER says that!

Fast, consistent, clean, yummy, good value..what more can I say. Jimmy John's is great. Only complaint...employees parking in spots closest to the door by the handicap spot is rude. That should be for the clientele.

Had a bad experience with this Jimmy John's. About 6 years ago, close to the closing time of the store, My Ex-girlfriend at the times son ordered 2 sandwiches from them, one for me one for him, she didn't want anything. When I got my sandwich and bit into it, it tasted like old spit (that smell that you experiencein nursing homes, or an older persons home sometimes). I spit the bite of sandwich out, opened the sandwich up and the was a clear slim on the inside of the sandwich. Jimmy John's was closed by that time, we recieved a sandwich credit for it though(apparently there was nothing wrong with her sons sandwich). That wasn't enough. The something practically happened at a Jimmy John's in Hickory, NC(about 3 years ago). A clear substance on a Jimmy John's sandwich my Girlfriend(Baby's Mother now)(apparently there was nothing wrong with her sandwich) at the time ordered for me. We received a refund...it wasn't enough.

We ordered 3 subs via driver thru the guy never asked what size we wanted and was irritated that we were making changes to two of the subs. I asked for salt and pepper on my sub he stated we don't do that we give you packets. Well I didn't get any salt and pepper nor packets.

Great service on a quick drive thru order for the kids. Sandwiches were prepared as ordered, and bread was sooooo good!Great job, Jimmy Johns, on Hwy. 49!
