My first time eating here and the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. I tried the salmon burger, dirty rice and Mac cheese. If you're in the area, stop in and try them out.

This place is the absolute worst. Listen to me. The Turkey was not cooked at all. The skin was tough I damn near needed a polan chain saw to cut the skin..the meat wast stuck to the bone. Buyer beware. The Turkey Legs was all white it wasnt cooked at all. omg dont go here..you will be disappointed.. this place is the worst and I've been all over the world.. this place ranks the worst of them all... Terrible

Food was ok but the customer service was trash.. tried to place an order over the phone and told me they can’t with no explanation.. I get inside the place and they’re sitting around talking.. you should be behind the counter ready for any customer to walk in this is not your home it’s a business. They were out of a lot of menu items and a lot of things are extremely overpriced. I highly doubt they’ll be in business very long.

Don't waste$32 on this half done not grilled turkey legs! No smoky flavor at all! The dirty rice was meatless, mushy n unseasoned! The mac n cheese need REAL cheese! The greens needs to be cooked longer w 1 of those turkey legs. The greens weren't chopped up nor seasoned properly. The sweet tea was good but they don't have a ice machine in the building. And there is an odor i can't describe or want to smell again.

I was sent a TikTok video of the place. I live in Virginia, but traveled to Atlanta over a weekend and decided that I would stop on my way back to VA. Got the Soul Leg and another turkey leg and the food was delicious. I met one of the owners, Barry, he was very nice and appreciative that I stopped by his establishment. If I’m ever in Charlotte or passing through, I will definitely stopping by again.

I had a Brother recommend this location after an event. I will admit I was very cautious at first but upon arrival and venturing inside, it was a delightful surprise. Small but intimate, food was good and atmosphere was amazing. Not an everyday hangout spot but worth a visit.

My buddy who lives in Charlotte has been talking about going to this place for the past year. You drive by and don’t really know what to expect since there are no windows, but I feel like that’s part of the fun. When you walk in it feels like you’re going to a friend’s house to hang out for a really good meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and offer really good recommendations.
They’re known for their turkey legs, and I would highly recommend the Dirty Leg, which is the turkey leg topped with their dirty rice and hot honey sauce. It’s a big portion so you could split between two people if you’re not starving. Definitely get the Thanksgiving Egg rolls too, very good. I’ve seen a few reviews saying this is the best Mac and cheese they’ve ever had, sadly I disagree, it’s just average to me but I prefer mine thicker and this was pretty runny. My buddy got the Salmon Burger that our waitress also raved about and said it was solid.
Get out and support your local spots like Jive Turkey Hut, they’re worth it!

Stopped here over not and just walkes up on this place and I tell ypu the food is Great had a strip basket .I will be trying the Turkey Wings , Mac&Cheese and the Collard Greens later.
