Went there this evening and tried their Galbi. It was absolutely amazing!! The galbi was perfectly seasoned and piping hot. Their kimchi was also delicious, tasted homemade. Will definitely come here again if I’m in the area. 맛있어요!

Cozy footprint. Just a few tables, so get there early! Authentic Korean food exactly what you would want to order to experience Korean food. My husband is Korean and said everything tasted on point; he loved his food. He got the combination Japchae and Bulgogi meat. I ordered the bibimbap Loaded with vegetables… Better than others I’ve had in town, hands-down. Our family enjoyed the meal immensely. All fresh ingredients and the staff is so friendly! We will definitely be dining here a lot.
The people are so kind and you can tell they use attention to detail when making each dish. The bibimbap and Kimbap was very tasty.

If you have never tried Joa, then you must! The name of the restaurant even means "To Like" in Korean. The flavors are super spot on to what these dishes taste like in Korea, and the owner/staff are SO kind! The owner will even come out and chat with you like you're family. Truly a gem to try out in Charlotte.
