“Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Anju. We started with the seafood pancake which was actually more of a waffle. I prefer the traditional pancake but the waffle was good too. Next we split two entrees. We went with the bulgogi of course because it’s a classic. Also tried the spicy stir fried squid off the pop up menu. Loved this surf and turf combination. The cheesecake was the perfect ending. Great service too!“

“Delicious and quick! Ordered bulgogi and it was ready in just a few minutes. The food was delicious! I don't usually love kimchi, but I did like their recipe, and the pickles were great too. Although I took it to go, the inside of the restaurant looked good. Although small, the wall art was nice and explained the main dishes served.“

“This place is hands down the best Korean BBQ place in Charlotte. If you want a server who is knowledgeable and cares about his patrons, Amadeo, is your guy. He helped picked out our menu and had wonderful recommendations. He made small talk at our table and we will be back because of his wonderful professionalism and manners. “As a Korean from the West coast, I can say with utmost certainty that this is the best Korean food you can get in Charlotte. Kimchi is always fresh and has amazing flavor, perfectly balanced and has a nice kick all kimchi should have. I grew up going to hole in the wall Korean restaurants with my 할머니 and the Dduk Mandu Guk is the closest I get to being back there. Nice proportions fitting of a Korean restaurant, and trust me you will be wanting to have more despite being so full you’re ready to explode. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!“

“Everything was amazing, from the food to the service. The waiters were always checking up on us and they switched the pot every time we asked. The meats are fresh (we ordered the beef bulgogi and brisket) and the sides are so flavorful. I really enjoyed the experience“

“Came on a Saturday and the place was packed. I had to wait 20 minutes to eat, but since it wasn't my first time I knew the wait was worthy. Although the place was full the food came quick and the service was good. Love all side dishes and my favorite meats are the marinated ones.“
