I've eaten at La Belle Helene numerous times and loved it, however, today's brunch was a disappointment. Quiche portion was tiny and appeared to be reheated making the crust tough and favorless. Bloody Mary was pretty favorless too. The only item we enjoyed was the croissant basket. These were fresh and warm to perfection. The Service was slow. I doubt I will chance this restaurant again.
This was a bustling restaurant in Charlotte, reservations highly recommended. The interior exuded a captivating French ambiance, complete with a grand bar, individual dining rooms, and mesmerizing lighting.

La Belle Helene is physically beautiful with classy decor and upscale furnishings but the service and atmosphere do not match the aesthetics. A true French dining experience is about more than the decor: the mood, the vibe, and the ambiance are all key. The interior lighting is far too bright, and the noise level is disruptive to an intimate dining experience. We had a 7pm reservation and were not seated until 8pm.
