Pupusas were on point. Reminds me of how my grandmother use to make them when growing up. I saw someone’s comment and it said something about the pupusas having to be thicker, not necessarily. Back in the motherland, different locations have there own ways of making them. But definitely a spot I’m coming to regularly now.

I only wanted a stuffed chili and rice and they told me that if I didn't make another size they were going to charge me as a complete dish and that's not the case and the stuffed chili and the doughy rice came out hard and the lady who served was eating on top of it. of food with big nails that is NOT

They force you to eat food even if you don't want it. The person who served me said that I had to take the complete sides because if not they would charge me for them with the same firm.

I bought pupusas to take away, very good flavor, however the typical Salvadoran sauce that distinguishes them from any other meal was missing.
I came to visit Charlotte again and came to my favorite pupusa place but somehow they’ve lost touch of what a pupusa should look like. I ate more masa than what’s inside of it. Sadly I returned to the restaurant the next day to see if they can put a little more extra meat and I still got the same results. Pupusas should look Gorditas full of meat or cheese melting out in them. I’ll post what I got versus what I expected Maybe it’s time to find another venue. So long La Cabana
