If you’re looking for great customer service and delicious food, Las Meras Tortas is NOT the place to go. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The woman taking orders at the front clearly had no interest in serving me. She spent 10 minutes counting her drawer instead of taking my order, then let another customer cut in front of me. When she finally decided to take my order, she walked away mid-sentence and was rude the entire time.
The wait for the food was unnecessarily long, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t worth it. The pulled pork in the torta I ordered was dry and completely flavorless, and to top it off, the prices were outrageous. For $60 for three meals and three drinks, I expected at least decent service or good food, but I got neither.
It was clear they didn’t want me there, and honestly, I don’t plan on ever going back. Save your time and money, there are much better spots to eat.

We had not exactly a bad experience but we ordered two mere cakes in one, the lettuce was in bad condition and the avocado they put on it was not ripe, it was still very hard and could not be digested.

The woman taking orders at the front clearly had no interest in serving me. She spent 10 minutes counting her drawer instead of taking my order, then let another customer cut in front of me. When she finally decided to take my order, she walked away mid-sentence and was rude the entire time.
The wait for the food was unnecessarily long, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t worth it. The pulled pork in the torta I ordered was dry and completely flavorless, and to top it off, the prices were outrageous. For $60 for three meals and three drinks, I expected at least decent service or good food, but I got neither.
It was clear they didn’t want me there, and honestly, I don’t plan on ever going back. Save your time and money, there are much better spots to eat.
