I’m looking at all the bad reviews and saying to myself, If you’re broke JUST SAY THAT. Lol. I’ve had macarons while visiting the United Kingdom as well as Netherlands and these are just as good. No other macarons in Charlotte could compare to the quality of Le Macarons. The ones in Trader Joe’s are not fresh, and they are chewy. Just like the ones in Amelies. Le Macaron has always had the freshest batches and the quality and consistency of each one was always amazing. They’re never chewy and old like everybody else’s. I believe a few years ago I spoke to the owner who if I remember correctly was a couple from France? Or somewhere in that area. Lol. So I totally understood When I read a negative review about their spelling. They were probably a foreign couple. But either way, their pastries were authentic and delicious. Every time I went I would get a box of 32. They were definitely worth the price compared to any other store with macarons. I’m sad that they are no longer there. I hope they open up somewhere again I. Charlotte.

I drove there a few months ago , almost 45 mins .. and they were closed. Called the number multiple times and no answer . Wrote the FB page and no response . Didn’t think they were even still open .

I guess it comes down to personal taste. It was my first time eating macarons and I found them to be a bit too sweet for me. I think I bought like three different flavors; something related to coffee, coconut, and something else...I don't think I'd ever go back for myself but my friends liked them and originally it was supposed to be a gift for them anyway so A+ pastries. The shop itself was cute and organized and the guy working there was very nice too.

I've heard about this place like a long time ago. It's bit far away from where I am located at. I wish there more stores in Charlotte area. Finally!! I got to try them! I've been looking for good and legit eclair. I was so excited right when I find out they have it. Their eclair has amazing choux dough filled with full of cream! This place would become my favorite must-go place for the BEST eclair in Charlotte. Even though they are bit pricier than other places, they are worth it. I will definitely revisit and try others too.

AMAZING...If you have a sweet tooth you will be in heaven. Im talking variety of gelatos from Bright and fruity to rich and creamy! Pastries that speak to your eyes, and stomach[beautiful and taste OUT OF THIS WORLD] ever eaten a pastry that look like a cigar or a tube of lipstick? Macarons here are delicious and the flavors are amazing --P.S you cant go wrong with the pistachio anything here; gelato or macarons!! Oh yea they have your drinks covered to-- Whether youre on the go or want to sit a while. This place has you covered. Oh yea and staff is super friendly and pleasant. Just GO already but you dont have to take my word for it...( clues reading rainbow music😊) of your taste buds dont lead you there first.

This place offers delicious macaroons and is so cute with the Paris themed shop. They have other French desserts to try and occassionaly host events like high tea. It's a cute place for a treat & a cup/tea.

The place is def. cute. Loved the decorations and the presentation of the treats till i took a bite of the deserts. The problem was the taste. Macaron was aiiiite. It was just ok, nothing more. Napolean did not have the right texture nor the taste. Worst part was the taste of the latte i ordered. SMH!! I will give one star for the effort the employee made by trying to remake the drink.
