Ordered crab rangoon and bbq beef. Took a log time to make it. Tasted terrible. Beef tasted as if was microvawed. Stiff like a piece of jerky. Crab rangoon tasted foul. Threw everything out.

Quick, friendly and good taste! Order last minute for 5 ppl on a Sunday night. Everyone was happy with their dish. I had shrimp pad Thai, which was good but would have liked more vegetables. I’d get it again, though and the portions were very generous. A great weekly staple.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had and I've been enjoying Chinese for 60 years - until now. Sa cha shrimp, kon bo shrimp, shrimp and broccoli all had the same thick, oily brown sauce and the same vegetables. Spring rolls were filled with shredded cabbage, not marinated, not seasoned and tough - I spat mine out.
Grubby little hole in the world wall, should be out of business soon. I can get better Asian food at a Harris Teeter hot buffet.

This is the best food in CHARLOTTE!!! Best LO MEIN, best DUMPLINGS, best BEEF AND BROCCOLI!! I EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS AMAZING!!! I have lived here 25 years and I can say this is the best to go to! Don’t miss out, what are you waiting for!!!!

Have used Lotus satisfactorily for years. Just got a chicken broccoli dish; the chicken was flimsy thin slabs of something that looked like chicken but was terrible! Totally unhappy and will not use Lotus again.

Really terrible. The chicken and broccoli had little flavor and the chicken was mushy and slimy. I had to throw it away. Totally inedible.

We ordered take out and thought we were getting chow mein noodles which turned out to be not that. There was no communication by the staff as to what they could do to make the order right. We googled what was supposed to be chow mein noodles and compared it to what was stated on their menu. There was no mention of how they could accommodate us to get us to what we ordered. I won’t be back.

Lotus cafe is amazing. I love their chicken pad Thai and my husband loves the sesame chicken. We also got crab Rangoon’s last time which were so tasty. We have been going to this place for years and will continue to do so!

The food is great but when i placed my delivery order, the site says CALL TO PAY by card. I did. And the guy says “oh you call pay dewiwewwy?” And i said yeah. Well, i was trying to ask him questions, and he just keeps yelling, “you pay dwifah you pay dwifah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah ok ok ok ok ok bye bye bye yeah yeah yeah” and hangs up. They need to HIRE someone with customer service skills.

This was my first time coming to order food. My wife and I ordered food inside. There wasn’t anybody in the restaurant with us. About 5 mins later they get a rush with 5 or 6 people that came in after us. We waited for 30 mins. They gave our order away. The guy as the front the desk who put the order kept asking if we had the order and we didn’t have it. My wife went to move the car closer. He asked if I had left with the food I never received. There was an older lady that came to my car and asked AGAIN if I got the order and I repeatedly stated I did not. She starts to look around in the car. After 45 mins of getting the food we were NEVER given. Our order was incomplete. ACCUSING FIRST time customers of basically lying about receiving food we never got is insulting. The staff was arguing and yelling amongst themselves because of the error they made. We spent $40 and sat there for 30 mins inside the restaurant. DO NOT SPEND your money or waste your time visiting this establishment. They will give your order away, accuse you of stealing, never take accountability and your order is incomplete! I would call corporate if I could. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Been coming here for years, maybe once a month. I always get my same comfort food egg fu yung combination dinner and have NEVER been disappointed.
No their English isn’t good sometimes and it’s not a shiny, sparkly Instagrammable place but they are very kind and warm even when they are very busy. l personally will always go back.
